Provide Description When Selecting Data Overlay on Map

Post by rmeroda »

When reading the following article it seems there is some confusion about what data is overlayed on the map...

https://nasaspeed.news/toolshed-enginee ... comment-14

The author says the red/yellow/green overlay shows longitudinal and lateral g's. Unless I misunderstand myself, I thought that that overlay only shows lateral g's. When I checked the map settings for myself I saw the option for a green/red map without threshold settings. Is that longitudinal accerleration?

If possible maybe you could add a changing descriptor to the map title (in the options tool) to help with clarification of overlay selection. For example... Lateral G Map, Longitudinal G Map, GPS Fix(?) Map, Accuracy(?) Map

True. There are indeed 4 options to select from: lateral acceleration (as shown in the article), longitudinal acceleration, fix accuracy and lap / reference plots side by side.
