Support planned for LapTimer v21, Spring 2017. I just received a test device.

Would the on-board GPS integrated? Or would I have to rely on external GPS source?

I have no idea if the Garnin GPS is better than a smartphone GPS and if it is accessible. It would be quite some effort to integrate it - but I will check.

It has a 10hz internal GPS.
Garmin also has an optional Bluetooth OBD2 dongle.

The VIRB Ultra 30 has been released with a built-in 10Hz GPS sensor. It would be great to support this as well.
