Virtual best lap shown graphically on Speed @ Distance Chart

Post by 38F/62R » Mon Apr 14, 2014 6:19 pm

Is it possible to display the virtual best as a graphic representation on the speed @ distance chart? It would be an easy way to see where time was lost if it could be overlayed like a reference to the fastest actual lap.
Also, is it possible to mark the location of the splits on the distance axis of the same chart?
Thanks

Any thoughts on this as a possible feature Harry?

I too would find value in being able to see best virtual lap overlaid on fastest actual lap in the speed/distance chart.

The virtual best is made up from best sectors. This means this charts would need to compare sector by sector. Possible, but quite some work...

OK, on the laplist page, how about putting a star or some other sort of marker beside the laps that have a fastest sector time made in that lap? As it is now, it is hard to find which laps have a sector that is part of the virtual best. And marking the split location on the distance axis? Thanks again.

The best sectors are colored red on the laps bar chart, IIRC.

Yea but there's now way to quickly get to the details for each of those laps or even identify them by lap number, AFAIK.

That's right. Currently, the only thing you can do is zooming in until you see the lap time and search for this item in Lap List.

Exactly my point, thank you. And, if you have 10 laps that are all 1:40.xx it takes a long time to filter through them because they are only identified to the whole second on the lap bars chart.
