Go Pro 3 as master cam

Hi, did i read on Facebook that a future update will allow a go pro 3 to be used as the master camera while the iPhone can show the lap time data at same time the go pro is recording (though lap timer controls)?

Yes, starting with version 17.5 (the current version is 17.4.1).

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like i'll be buying a gopro 3 then
