QSTARZ Q1000eX GPS Lap Timer

Post by NJepsom »

Harry,

Do u plan to introduce support for the QSTARZ Q1000eX GPS Lap Timer logs files, it would be really ace to let this device to log the gps data and then xfer it to trainer on an iPad in the garage.

http://shopqstarz.com/qstarzproducts/qs ... lap-timer/

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the swift reply.

Also does the iphone have to be active for lap times to be captured ? Or will it work OK in sleep mode. Wondering how to keep the screen unlocked whilst in a pocket in the leathers on a motorcycle.

Regards

Hi,

Recording works with the screen turned off. Video recording does not. LapTimer in a leather jacket will not work very good. Wearing the iPhone in your cloth will reduce GPS accuracy significantly. In case you want to store it like this, add an external BT device (like the GNS, check Compatibility in LapTimer's home page).
