I wonder if is possible to connect any external accelerometer and gyro sensor via bluetooth to iphone which will work with Laptimer ?

It is just because build in (iphone) accelerometer is extremly slow (I'm using laptimer on the bike).

Does any one of you know any supported sensor like this...

I am starting this year with motocycle trackdays.
I want to record this with 2 Go Pro Sessions. Now I need a good GPS device for it. Which one should I use? Is the Dual XGPS160 usable with the Session?

And do I need to have my phone with me? Or can I record both and then put it together...

For those of you using an iPhone, has anyone tried using a Garmin smartwatch as an alternative to the Apple Watch for tracking heart rate? While the Polar HRM is the most accurate (and a rather cheap) option, I really dislike wearing that chest strap.

I use a GoPro 3 for external video. Every time I record I make sure to first change the Field of View (FOV) from Medium -> Narrow. But once the Lap Timer app connects to the GoPro and begins auto recording all the footage is captured in Medium FOV. I've tried changing the GoPro settings directly...

Are there any plans to support the new Garmin Virb Ultra 30 action camera? It's an amazing camera with a multiple sensors built-in such as: accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer, as well as support for ANT+, WIFI and Bluetooth. It can even interface with OBDII sensors over bluetooth....

It seems like a reasonable assumption that the new lower end camera would work with HLT but has anyone tried it? Says it's shipping to US and Canada only at the moment.

Using an MK2 with latest firmware, I have the accel/gyro set to 50hz to match the gps, but the app is still defaulting to the phones built in gyro/accel
