Re: Kiwi 3 OBD Refresh Issue with BMW
Mfi is basically Bluetooth SPP with some overhead. But I really can't answer this. I know that an OBD adapter running at 8 Hz plus a 20 Hz GPS device usually play together on track. In the pits it might bot because you have so many devices around.

Re: Kiwi 3 OBD Refresh Issue with BMW
Bandwidth used for GPS multiplies with update rate. A device with 25 Hz will use a lot of bandwidth. OBD will get slower when bandwidth is low. Can't say for the GoPro.

Re: Kiwi 3 OBD Refresh Issue with BMW
Bluetooth devices can “advertise” their services, usually after setting them to be ready for pairing or (for BT LE), simply broadcasting availability of services. Both operations reduce the bandwidth available, the former considerable. I recall I have seen in car stereos advertising constantly and c...

Re: GoPro 10 supported?
Any external action cam will require you to transfer footage to your smartphone. The benefit from integration (opposed to simply adding any external video) is that LapTimer triggers the cam in sync with sessions driven.

Re: Selected verify data, app crashed and now won't reopen
Hello, The upgrade is not related to the crash. This is most probably a database problem Verify Data revealed. To get the app up and running again, the current (corrupted) database needs to be inactivated. The procedure to do this is described here: http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?t=6176 ...

Re: Kiwi 3 OBD Refresh Issue with BMW
OBDLink CX or MX+. But I doubt it is a problem with LapTimer and the Kiwi 3. Try without Racebox please, it may use up all bandwidth.

Yes, future recordings only.
With reference lap I meant one which can serve as a typical example of laps you record.

Re: GLP Unexpected Timer Stop
The timer is 3 minutes. A "stand still" is defined as a speed below 1.5 km/h. Both values are hard coded currently.

Re: Data is out of sync with video
The Racebox Mini has a high update rate, so the delay is low. LapTimer will use Sensor Delays / External GPS Sensor for it. The default value is 0.7. I can't say more because the startup time of videos has a high variance depending on system load. So you really need to select a reference lap and tun...

Re: Internal Video Freezes on out lap
I do not maintain a compatibility list for iPhone (or other smartphones) except setting the minimal OS version. It is well possible the number of videos on the one side, and the age of an iPhone 8 introduce issues. I'd recommend to move older videos and original videos that have been overlaid alread...
