Re: OBD WLAN dropping. Using w/Jailbroken iPhone4+RoqyBT4+GP

Hi, I did extensive changes to LapTimer's OBD integration, and did trial & error on all kinds of OBD settings this weekend. Although I'm not finally sure if thing are fully fixed, I come back from a longer drive (> 1h) without any drop. The setting I have most evidence currently is 'adaptive tim...

Re: roqyBT4 and Bluetooth OBDs!

Hi,

Just to check if it is the same pattern like the one with WLAN dongles, or a different one: it connects to the OBD, shows some OBD data (best seen using the Speedo view), works for approximately 60s, drops connection for 5 seconds or so, reconnects again, etc? Or a different pattern?

Re: Still having issues with LT Pro

Glanced over and it was recording but then stopped about 1/2 way through the course. The start/finish line was probably 100-200 yards away. Please check if you have other triggers on track disturbing the process. So then I decided to try to manual record, saw the app was recording and just focused ...

Re: Using Lap Timer Pro for autocross

Hi, Especially when AXes are very tight in the start / finish area, special care has to be taken. From what I understand there are two options: You set a 'standing go' trigger in the stand still area ahead of start - not the starting line / light. The finish is done be a normal 'stop' trigger, place...

[SOLVED] Issues with iOS5

Dear all, iOS5 is a major release with quite some changes. LapTimer Release 14.2 - which has been compiled with iOS5 - has shown that issues are not only on feature, but sometimes on a deep, technical level. As long as things are not stable, I maintain this thread to have all issues including workar...

Re: Datalog size

Hi, Video takes approximately 80 MB per minute GPS / OBD / Acceleration data recording takes exactly 4440 Bytes per minute at 1 Hz update rate So when talking about space, video is the only relevant size you need to consider. LapTimer is based on a PalmOS data layer, there is nothing smaller and mor...

In case the iPhone4S can work with GLONASS, LapTimer will work with it too.
