Re: Mounting Dual Electronics XGPS160 SkyPro GPS
I just got the dual. There is no way in heck it's staying on my dash. One quick turn and its sliding out the window. LOL I think I am going to stick one of the gopro sticky mounts to the bottom and get a suction mount and mount it to the windshield.

Re: New video each lap?
It is one video per session - just like for the internal cam. LapTimer started a new video each lap in old times - this however made you (at least) loose some seconds of footage each lap. Handling session videos can be cumbersome, true. Especially when the HERO starts splitting vids each 4GB (requi...

New video each lap?
I recently bought the Gopro 4 Silver and I am curious when used in multi cam with the app does it record one video for the whole session or does it break each lap into a new video? I am curious because I think 1 video for the whole session probable wouldn't upload to the phone when it comes time to ...

Gopro 4 Master
Is there any downside to making the gopro the master for multi cam then deleting the footage from the iphone and only using the gopro footage for overlay?
Thank you
Thank you

Re: [PLEASE VOTE] LapTimer v20 Feature Priorities
EvolutionX, It would be great if we could import the data into a program on the PC to see in big screen what's going on such as braking points, acceleration points and to be able to see our lines around the track. You can. The export data function allows you to export lap or session data in a varie...

Re: Joby Gopro Mount
Jello is a big problem with cameras on drones. The solution there is a very soft and springy mount. I don't think anyone makes a similar mount for a smart phone, but maybe you could build one yourself. See here, for example: http://www.muvee.com/uses/stabilizing-drone-videos#.VmniWF52FOg They also ...

Re: Joby Gopro Mount
When using LapTimer GrandPrix with MultiCam / GoPro remote controlling, LapTimer will memorize the relation between laps and videos. So besides turning the external cam on and off, this is the second - and probably bigger benefit when using GP. The only thing you need to take care for when transfer...

Re: Joby Gopro Mount
Out of curiosity, can I set the gopro to be the only cam and use the app just for timing and data recording since the phone is so shaky? Will it automatically ad the overlay to the gopro footage? With LapTimer v19, you can manually record with your GoPro, use LapTimer as a plain LapTimer, transfer ...

Re: Joby Gopro Mount
I'll look into that. I have it for the iphone. I need something for outside the car and something for the roll bar. The bar on the roll bar runs at an angle so I need something that I can adjust the camera so it's level. I was thinking the ball joint style would make it easier. This is what makes t...
