Re: Laptimer crashes when clicking on Overlay

You may send me crash logs in case they exist: http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1115 In case you do not find (recent) crashlogs, it is most probably about missing main memory. In cases like this, rebooting the iPhone helps. I have optimized memory requirement in v17.0.4 in additi...

Re: Laptimer crashes when clicking on Overlay

Hope that will be fixed in 17.0.4 (submitted to Apple already). I received some feedback like this but have not been able to reproduce / fully understand the pattern this happens in. Do you have a second video associated for the lap you want to overlay (MultiCam)?

Re: VBOX Sport 20 Hz GPS support

There are several users around already. I had a chance to drive 3 or 4 laps at Nordschleife using it and it is great compared to any other GPS I have seen. No drop outs, high update rate, and high accuracy. I had the external antenna connected and mounted it to my car's roof - which is part of the q...

OBD "Problem Cars"

Dear OBD users, Starting with version 17, LapTimer strictly checks OBD replies for parameters requested. This strict checking generates some problems for cars with an inconsistent OBD implementation. This articles discusses background and workarounds. In addition, I'd like to use this thread to coll...

Re: OBDII Throttle position display meter

The throttle PID 0x0111 delivers your pedal position + what engine control believes is necessary. You can switch to pedal position PIDs in LapTimer's expert settings (0x0147 to 0x014B) if you want. Please check what you car has available first (Sensor List -> touch row showing your active OBD - so y...

Re: OBDII Throttle position display meter

OBD defines throttle comes in at values between 0 and 255 (mapped to 0 to 100% or 0.0 to 1.0 in LapTimer). Problem is cars do not use the defined range and instead deliver e.g. values between 4 and 120... This is the reason LapTimer auto calibrates min and max values: It initially sets a low max exp...

Re: Laptimer Video Recording Crash during lap, but records d

So the message has most probably been "Low memory, video recording stopped / disabled! Please free up space and return." In case this happens, LapTimer disables video recording until the Video View is closed and opened again (with enough memory available). I will add a reset in case the ap...
