Re: Using for Off Road Dirt Bike Racing?
Autosport Labs RaceCapture Pro and Apex have telemetry capability, assuming there's the right kind of cellphone service available at the track. The data are uploaded in real time to a web site. I don't know how well it actually works, though. They also need power from an external source, either 12V ...

Re: Exporting A Session with All Lap Data
If you can't remember which name is which, check the file size and open the larger one.

Re: Ideal time to Stop Race Recording
Cancel should only delete the whole session if the laps weren't split. But you should be able to determine that by whether you see lap times or not. However, I would rather edit the lap list rather than run the risk of losing data.

Re: HLT Petrolhead to GP Edition troubleshooting
If you searched on this forum you likely would have found the answer as it comes up often.
Load the Petrolhead edition on your iPhone 5. Then open HLT and upgrade to Grand Prix through the in app purchase. As long as you're using the same Apple id you used to buy the upgrade, you won't be charged.

Re: Hero 3+ and Itunes 12.7
Buy the Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera reader. You'll need the micro-SD to SD adapter that should have come with your micro-SD card. That will transfer video files from the SD card to the Photo app. That can be accessed from Laptimer. That's really the fastest and most convenient way to transfer ...

Re: Incomplete Lap Recordings
cobbyboy, You might also try exporting unsplit lap data in .kml format and opening it in Google Earth to see if there is some glaring error in the GPS data, like it thinks you went into the paddock. After you widen the corridor, first send the program to the background and open it up again, then ope...

Re: Camera Stabilization
The front camera is lower resolution and has a fixed focal length. Autofocus is one of the contributors to the problem. What with vibration, the camera can't decide where it needs to focus. If you could turn it off, it would help. But Apple and Android operating systems take turning autofocus off as...

Then how come they're not for sale? And they've been 'in production' for about a year now.Blackfrosch wrote:The units are in production. And obviously 50hz is marketing, but I believe that wivel will work great with harrys laptimer - so no need to connect ,three sensors

Re: 2017 Honda Civic Type R - No ECT or IAT showing on OBD
The various RaceCapture devices allow custom PID's and can also read the CAN bus directly, which is much faster if you know the correct CAN ID. They are compatible with HLT. I can't enthusiastically recommend them, though. They still need a lot of development, IMO.

Re: Camera Stabilization
I'm pretty sure the problem is high frequency vibration. Your hands filter that out. Image stabilization works for the low frequency of hand movement. A RAM mount, necessary to get accurate accelerometer data, doesn't. Drone cameras have similar problems. Soft rubber vibration isolation mounts are t...
