Re: More Fields in Timer Views

Hi, I'm aware of this tool (interesting price point by the way - I need to reconsider my strategy :-) ) but I 'm not clear what additional features you are on? There are certainly areas where things are solved in a different way / style - which is one time a good thing, and another time not. I will ...

Re: HELP!! trying to get HLT to work with Rental karts

I had no chance to test the device on my "reference" track Nordschleife but will post once I have a valid sample to compare. In general high update rates come at the price of accuracy. The VBOX Sport should play in a different league however and I hope to see better update rates AND accura...

Re: Compatibility Question

There is indeed this Core Bluetooth framework available for iOS devices featuring BT Low Energy (i.e. iPhone4S and iPhone5). This will not help however, as the current implementation of LapTimer is based on a different iOS framework (EAAccessory) abstracting from all of this transportation layer stu...

Re: Compatibility Question

Not without jailbreak and the usual roqyBT OBD tool chain. Please always take care what you plug into your car's bus! Another important criteria is automatic turn on/off - otherwise you will drain your batteries are fiddle around with the plug all the time.

Re: Telemetry Analysis Software

VBO files are usually a continuous flow of GPS positions - no laps or other separations (CT breaks down laps itself). LapTimer actually reconstructs this continuous flow from individual laps. I'm not sure anything but such a flow would be accepted, so I took sessions - which fulfill this requirement...

[HOWTO] How to send iOS crash logs

Hi, In the hopefully rare case LapTimer crashes (i.e. falls back to iOS Springboard without a message or pressing the Home button), you may send the crash log to me for debugging. Here are the steps you need to go through: Open Settings app Go to Privacy, then Diagnostics & Usage Select Diagnost...

Re: Video Start Trigger

This again show clearly we will never run out of ideas :-D Thanks for proposing, lets see which ideas will make it to future versions. LapTimer always started with a basic feature set and has evolved over time. Thanks again and let me know how you like the start!

Re: Video Start Trigger

Thanks for the feedback. The video trigger is on my list like background video recording, both for v18.

I'll change the alert for version 17 but can't change the setting to a default ON. All privacy settings are not changeable for apps, that would workaround privacy :-)

I have no problems with iOS6.1 and the GoPoint, we check it regularly during beta testing.
