Re: GoPro 10 supported?
With the new GoPro 11 supporting 10 bit color and much higher bitrate video and resolution, is this something that can be enabled for laptimer overlay? iOS itself supports editing 10 bit color HEVC video at >4K resolutions at high bitrates and stereo audio (all HLT overlay videos with stereo audio t...

Re: RaceBox Mini
Is there a setting to change to have it show 25hz? The lap times still show 1hz on my laps with the Racebox mini with the latest update.

The Glo 2 will have better accuracy than the iphone GPS? 4-5 Hz and usage of GLONASS and GPS should be better, right?

Now that there are multiple cameras on the iPhone, will there be an update so we can select which camera to use for recording video with Laptimer? I think they announced that you can even do a multicam recording using some or all the cameras on the phone. Right now there is only a selection for fron...

Re: GoPro Hero5 and gps?
What is your recommended action camera to use with Laptimer? It seems like the only 2 supported cameras that can connect to Harry's Laptimer is Gopro or Sony.

Support for stereo audio on master video file
Can we have Laptimer (for iphone) keep the stereo audio in the master file for overlay? Laptimer currently takes the video file with stereo audio and it outputs the video with a mono audio track after overlay.

Re: GoPro Hero5 and gps?
The Gopro GPS refresh rate is much higher than the built in iphone one. I've used it for data overlay and it is more accurate. I use Dashware on PC to do the overlay on the video. You can create your own gauges etc. You do need to set your own lap start/stop points but otherwise it works. Here's a l...

Re: Status of HERO5 support
Also, Dashware is owned by GoPro now... which may be why it's integration with GoPro gps data is so easy to work with.
Dashware is still free to download and use.

Re: Status of HERO5 support
When you open the video file in Dashware, it asks you to load the gps data from the GoPro video file. Also, when you merge GoPro video files, it will automatically generate a CSV file with all the gps data in it. The merged video will not contain the gps/accelerometer data tracks. As for comparing t...
