Re: Add support for Bluetooth LE tire temp and position sensor

Hello,

Tire temperatures are exported to HLPTRL only currently. HLPTRL is a XML format (HLPTRZ is actually HTLPTR.GZ) which has all available sensor sources fused. So you can see GPS, engine, IMU and tires data side by side.

I'll add this to feature requests for CSV exports too.

Re: Recording for Lap 2 says “incomplete” but it shows all data including my lap time

Actually it is better to delete invalid raw recordings. There is at least one known issue with a data repair operation which fails when laps overlap in time. :-(

Re: Recording for Lap 2 says “incomplete” but it shows all data including my lap time

Whenever a driving direction is given, LapTimer will use Wide instead of the corridor type selected. Have you tried the "Verify Lap" thing? This will re-apply the trigger detection for your incomplete lap and allows you to verify the trigger is working without a new drive. ;-)

Re: Recording for Lap 2 says “incomplete” but it shows all data including my lap time

Goto LapTimer ‣ Analysis ‣ Realtime ‣ Map. Zoom into the start/finish line area. You will see your trigger here. Tap it to get into the trigger's details view. You find the driving direction in the bottom of the screen. 1 (not 0) is North, 90 is East, 180 is South, 270 is West, etc.

Re: GoPro Hero9 supported?

Yes, LapTimer fully supports SD, HD, FullHD, and UHD 4K. LapTimer has WiFi integration only for GoPros, so the connection process differs compared to RaceChrono. Please see Video Documentation on http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation for the details (search for Action Cam). You can operate the ca...

Re: Recording for Lap 2 says “incomplete” but it shows all data including my lap time

Hello, INCOMPLETE is a bit misleading. LapTimer is setting this flag in various situation, in particular when a triggered start / stop is combined with a manual or automatic stop. If e.g. you leave the track into the pits, the last "cool down" lap will not be stopped regularly when passing...

Re: Tire Temperature data format

Hello Michael, There is no standard protocol for tire sensors (like e.g. NMEA for GPS). This means you need to define your own mapping and feed data into LapTimer using our Developer Program. You can find an introduction to the program in http://downloads.gps-laptimer.de/LapTimerDocumentation%20-%20...

Re: Harry's Laptimer and Racelogic VBox Sport Help

P.S. When creating a trace log, please write down what you have done and were spotting while logging. Things like "Refreshed Sensor List", "0 Hz in GPS View", "changed to 20 Hz after 20s" etc. It is often hard to understand what happened from just the logs...

Re: Harry's Laptimer and Racelogic VBox Sport Help

Yes, I completed the last sentence in my post. :-) With a 20 Hz rate, you have one of the 1st gen devices, the new ones are 10 Hz. As you use GrandPrix and see 20 Hz, this means LapTimer is using the direct integration currently. In case you are interested in further investigate this, you can create...
