Re: Ducati Panigale DDA to OBD2

The only option to access a none ELM327 protocol is using scripting. Please have a look into the Engine documentation available http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation It includes some technics that may be helpful for your sniffer too. As an example, it makes no sense to retrieve temperatures too o...

Re: GoPro Hero 9 - cannot connect

Connection making to GoPros is getting more complex all the time. The 9 does not allow to simply turn on WiFi and connect like former models, but requires making the connection using the GoPro app. So start it and connect and switch to LapTimer afterwards. Well possible, the warning to not run the G...

Re: Oil temp for GT86/FR-S/BRZ?

EOT (which is engine oil temperature) is shown together with ECT (engine coolant temperature) in the named chart. In case you see ECT only, reading EOT didn't work and the .hlptrl file will not help to understand what is going on. Instead, we need to check if the custom PID is requested at all and w...

Re: Oil temp for GT86/FR-S/BRZ?

164 is too high. To check what is going on, please do a manual recording: enable Manual Timing in LapTimer Settings. The next time you drive around, press the Start button in Timer View. Record the whole drive and stop the recording when you stop. Select the “lap” recorded from Lap List and have a l...

Re: Oil temp for GT86/FR-S/BRZ?

Hello, In the last snapshot, you can see $21$01 EOT without a reply time in brackets. This means the custom PID has not been requested. This may be due to a configuration problem with the custom PID, or simply because the sensor has not been restarted after entering the custom PID configuration. For...

Re: App Update if upgraded

For the last version released, it is easy to re-enable upgrades installed before: goto LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Add-ons and press the Restore button.

Re: Use internal Ultra-Wide camera on iPhone 12 Pro Max

Currently, you can't. But it is high in the list. LapTimer will always select the Wide cam, options for Ultra-Wide and Tele will be added.
