Re: Joby Gopro Mount
Looks nice, but looks like composite material. I have no experience with it, but given it is comparable pricy, you may opt for a RAM mount solution too. They have GoPro adapters available too. Start with the recommended mount on http://www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios (or android) and check fo...

Joby Gopro Mount
I am getting rid of my Drift Ghost and buying a Gopro 4 Silver so I can use it with HLT. I never liked the Gopro mounts. Always a puzzle to get it to aim where I want it to aim. Has anybody tried this one? Looks like it used a ball mount so it can be adjusted easier. Thank you http://joby.com/suctio...

Re: Max G forces iphone
Splitter is about 2 inches off the ground at this point. But next track day it will be as close to they round as I can get it without it dragging the whole time. The dam will be easy to build. Just rolled aluminum from Home Depot that roofers use. It's not the perfect setup since I have vents for oi...

Re: Max G forces iphone
From everything I read the dam goes above the splitter.. Scroll down to "Front splitter/air dam" on my car there will be a gap between the bumper and splitter. That gap needs covered with the air dam.

Re: [PLEASE VOTE] LapTimer v20 Feature Priorities
External Cam Only Mode is my top priority. My iPhone 6s Plus video shakes so badly I need to use something else. I think I may have to second this. Also I would like to see more overlay options and more lap analyse options. It would be great if we could import the data into a program on the PC to s...

Re: iPhone 6 Plus
Do they make a mount that reduces vibrations? I think it's the harsh vibration that's the problem. If I hold the phone while driving it comes out pretty nice.

Re: Max G forces iphone
I am more about experimenting. That's the part that interests me. Go out for a session, come back in and makes some changes then go back out and see if they work. Since I am doing it myself there is a sense of accomplishment. It's a road car (Evo X) with some aero so it's not going to be in the same...

Re: Apple or Android
Thank's for the response. Is the hardware acceleration the G Force Meter? I have the BLt1 for the iphone but then I was reading the OBD MX for the Adroid is a lot faster. Since I qualify for trading my phone in I was either thinking iPhone 6s Plus or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. I am not sure what the "...

Re: Max G forces iphone
No the car out handles my ability. I'm working on getting my lines down perfect every lap then I'll play around with the suspension. The person that installed it did set it up but I'll fine tune it when I get my laptimes consistent. I have only done 4 track days and have dropped my time by about 30 ...

Re: iPhone 6 Plus
I had the lens updated under warranty. Still bad Jello. I see posts online and it's perfect. My friend's iphone 6 plus looks good as well. I am wondering if the RAM mount is too solid? My friend is using some ebay cheapy holder. Maybe a little give in the holder helps reduce vibrations? I am thinkin...
