But it solves your "boredom" problem [emoji6]jarobs wrote:To be honest, I drove the Nordschleife once with a different car and the absence of runoff was quite scary. I am not a good enough driver to go on the ring but you can memorize normal GT tracks in a morning and have fun in the afternoon.

Re: Kiwi 3
I have received an updated Kiwi3 firmware and the problem seems to be fixed now. I have no official information how to install the new firmware for regular users, but have asked PLX to clarify. I was wondering about firmware upgrades too, since I haven't found any type of PLX App or Download to do ...

Re: Kiwi 3
I received the Kiwi3, and was able to connect the LapTimer (on iPad Mini iOS9.2.1) to the Kiwi via bluetooth. The car is 2006 Porsche 997S MK1 Only tested it for a sort time, but it seems that Gear info is not accurate, it says 1st Gear when in 2nd, and when the car slow down to stop, it shows &quo...

Re: Flaky throttle data from GoPoint BT1
As Harald suggested, you should try the different available throttle PIDs from your car, you can see them going into the sensors list, choosing th OBD2 sensor and checking "info". Some of the throttle PIDs are in fact throttle body position and not pedal position and with modern drive by w...

Re: 360 degree footage ?
Did a quick and dirty 360 video with Laptimer overlay. I overlayed the data to a blue screen on my iPhone and then used that video with some ultra keying to put it on the equirectangular video, placing and resizing the gadgets so they end up at the front of the video: [youtube]https://www.youtube.co...

Re: 360 degree footage ?
I've had a Ricoh Theta m15 for quite a while and they even have a API for third parties including WiFi remote controlling. My model can only make videos up to 5 minutes at a time but the newer one makes videos up to 25 minutes at 30fps. Te cameras have gyroscope and compass if I remember right, whic...

Re: Lookup Car Websites
Here's a site from Germany with pretty detailed data for a lot of cars and they seem to resell their database:

Re: GPS Shift Light
Just to make sure I'm (or we) are on the same page: I thought his problem is the slip in 1st and 2nd and being in the fuel cut for some seconds and therefore there's no use in shifting via tachometer and shifting at too low a speed results in ending up with now boost from the turbo. Therefore he was...
