Re: Using the Lap Timer for "Pro Solo".

Btwyx, When I did a ProSolo earlier this year, I would get a start on one course, but it didn't stop until I finished the second course. That wasn't terribly useful. Even though the courses are supposed to be mirror images, there are always going to be differences, the surface, if nothing else. Unl...

Cannot save drive ratio - ANDROID

Hi Harry, Setting up my 2004 z06, the final drive is 3.42, I can spin the wheels & change the 3 numbers but cannot SAVE, it defaults back to 3.44. I know for certain it's 3.42. The vin is entered. Maybe the reference data base for 2004 z06 is wrong? Thanks. Also there are no body weights set &am...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only

Yes, that's what I see as the only sound scenario. In case the finish trigger didn't fire and you pressed the Cancel button (or finished LapTimer) back "in the pits", the video is finished but not deleted, while lap recordings are cleaned up. - Harry I will run some more laps today & ...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only

1) LapTimer frees up any resources when going to background. As long as an app is not supposed to operate in background, this is exactly what must be done to not disturbed other apps. Many don't do this... 3) Android/dongle problem. LapTimer does not control pairing, this is done on OS level. 5) Ho...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only

I ran a couple of short (less than 30 sec) tests today and found the following (by way of feedback for using hlt/android/cheap obd sensors - BlueTooth) Observations: 1) Whenever HLT goes into the android os background (like dropping to the tray on desktop computer) both gps & obd sensors disconn...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only

I have the Scantool OBDLink LX and even when it works with HLT(It only worked for the first 2 sessions then the connection died for some reason), the rpm data is very noisy and jumpy. Others have noticed the same thing with the OBDLink readers, but I'm not sure if it's car specific. I too have used...
