G meter not moving at all

Testing still,

Moto X, Dual160, generic obd,

1) G meter pegged dead center never moves a hair

2) What triggers the upper left display of straight speed & curve speed? Those are working.

Thanks!

GM oil temp & pressure GM transmission temp

From one of my Corvette Forums FWIW How to get non standard obd info. GM Oil Temp: set up custom PID 221154, unit C, max/min 215/-40, equation A-40. It's not exactly correct but it's usually within 5-10 degrees on my DIC. I think this is part of the GM extended PID set that you can access thru the T...

Re: Can I try to overlay data twice?

Please add your device configuration for an answer on the overlay topic. You can set triggers while driving but it is not recommended. I'm always scarred to see some dedicated loggers asking drivers to press buttons while driving - it is dangerous from my point of view and there are always alternat...

Re: Start line = finish line for autox settings?

Once the trigger is set, you can view it in the Map View. Here, you can drag it e.g. to the center between the two lanes. LapTimer uses a certain corridor for trigger detection. For triggers without a driving direction defined, the standard is 15 meters plus GPS accuracy. So mostly you will hit the...

Can I try to overlay data twice?

My (test) lap needed 43 min to overlay data (HD & Dual 160) so much processing time req. After about 10 min it quit (I sent a log) I am trying the overlay again (master video OK & overlay data available. Will this work ok? Phone is plugged in. No phone calls came in while processing. Thanks....

Re: Where does HLT put the files? Android.

Hi, A path like /storage/emulated/legacy/Movies is a path in Android's file system. That's the technical position. It depends on the desktop tooling manufacturers provide with the smartphone what portion you see. Even with Android, you will usually not get a view on the file system like you see it ...

Re: Start line = finish line for autox settings?

Yes, that should be fine. I'd recommend to test it ahead of your event. - Harry Exactly, testing in the neighborhood (slow). One more question, if I use new track scenario, how close does the gps have to be to the "start/finish" trigger? For example I set it while the car is on the north ...

Re: Start line = finish line for autox settings?

LapTimer should start and stop correctly but will not stop and start the next lap immediately. Background: when LapTimer is not recording, it ignores stop triggers. When it is recording, it ignores go triggers. So when approaching the pair not recording, it will trigger a lap start and stop the nex...

Start line = finish line for autox settings?

If I set the start/finish line exactly the same (or say within 1 meter or 2) for testing purposes (the end of my cul-de-sac) will HLT know to keep them in correct order or will start and finish trigger simultaneously and result in a zero second lap?

Thanks.
