Re: J1939 CAN data logger compatible with Laptimer?
yeah Kabacj I'm also an owner of a Mast Motorsports Engine which is why I made this post originally. My build got way way sidetracked so I actually wasn't ready for the track again until now. So I'm back on the quest to use Harry's laptimer with my 600hp Mast Motorsports engine. The OBDKey guys neve...

Re: J1939 CAN data logger compatible with Laptimer?
That is the issue indeed. I emailed quite a few OBDII device makers and did receive a promising response from the OBDkey folks. They said that their device would support J1939 if I hook it up. The guy who responded even offered to check if it would work with Laptimer when receiving J1939 info so I'm...

Re: [PLEASE VOTE] How did you become aware of Harry's LapTim
Interesting question. I've had the Laptimer pro for about a year now. After seeing a professional data logger in action I began I had an inspirational thought that hey maybe the iPhone with built in gps and accelerometers could do the same thing! I can tell you that as of a year ago it took me many ...

Re: J1939 CAN data logger compatible with Laptimer?
Thanks HMS. Just got back from lunch and have only been googling a few minutes but I did come across this: http://elmelectronics.com/DSheets/ELM327QS.pdf In addition to being able to automatically detect and interpret nine OBD protocols, the ELM327 also provides support for high speed communications...

J1939 CAN data logger compatible with Laptimer?
Hi, Does anyone know if there is a datalogger device compatible with the J1939 CAN signal (used for heavy automotive and industrial normally) that is compatible with the Iphone Laptimer ap? I know from searching on here Harry has mentioned as long as the data device is ELM327 it can work with the La...

Re: Windshield Mounts
Any other suggestions? With the TomTom support dropping off (even if temporary) and how much the mount shook I'm looking at the Emprum UltiMate so I'd need a new mounting system for video. I was very disapointed with the TomTom mount beeing way to shaky so hoping someone with experience can post up ...

Re: Using external videos to overlay
Hy Harry,
Is there any plan to support video's longer than one lap? I know that the Iphone records every other lap due to limitations of the phone. However, could the overlay be applied to multiple laps recorded on another device (e.g. gopro)?
Thanks

Re: Phone won't overlay from my sessions yesterday
Looks like that was the problem. My phone has way too many track videos lol!!
So now I just successfully did an overlay video. However, the data is way behind the video. I've never noticed syncing issues before. Is there some way to adjust it?
Thanks
