Re: Export very touchy in Android
I would love the ability to do overlays on a PC, possibly running under some Android emulator. So, export lap data and re-link video files, then run batch overlays using "Laptimer" code. (Yes, I know there is RaceRender for this, but I find the gauges and layout to be a bit cartoonish). I ...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
I have an iPhone 5s running iOS 11.3.1, XGPS160 and GoPoint BT1. I usually get accelerometer data with each fix. The times I don't, it's usually related to accelerometer calibration. I use CAM PRESET for calibration. I use the "right-hand drive" preset, but do not get any acceleration dat...

Re: Not getting throttle and RPM info in video
Before I head out on track, I have a number of things I check in Laptimer before going into TIMER... one of the things I do is go to the SENSOR LIST display and scroll through to check that my GPS, OBD and external cams are connected and the update rates are as expected. I have an LG G3 Android phon...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
Circuit Tools doesn't use measured acceleration data. It calculates it from the GPS position data and uses it's own smoothing algorithm. If you look at the exported .vbo file in Notepad or some other text editor, is the acceleration data there? I'm betting not. OK... I didn't know that. The VBO has...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
Same here. I had a track weekend 2 weeks ago, and no acceleration data is stored, except at S/F and split points. I have Dual SkyPro at 10hz. Now here is something interesting / confusing. I exported my data to VBO and when viewed in CircuitTools, the acceleration data IS there... no smoothing or r...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
Please make sure you see a GPS update rate of 10 Hz while driving. In case you see 10 Hz and do not get acceleration, it is a problem with app/adapter etc. In case you do not get 10 Hz, it is a problem with the GPS connection. - Harry While driving, I see both the 10hz GPS update rate (skypro) and ...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
I'm using a Dual SkyPro XGPS160... I don't think there is an option to lower its update rate from 10Hz...??

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
Harry - I understand you are in development of new sensor fusion for this area. The workaround of recalculating acceleration data from GPS doesn't produce a truly accurate result - its fairly jumpy / spiky even with strong smoothing. I have a track event next weekend and would like to revert to v21....

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
Harry - I feel fairly certain this is a software bug introduced with V21.2, sorry to say. I set the External GPS Delay to 1.5 seconds to match previous expert setting, but no acceleration data is recorded. I also tried changing the Accelerometer rate to 60Hz (up from 30), but no effect. Then I notic...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS
V21.2 introduced anew expert setting for "External GPS Delay" with a default of 0.7 seconds.... previous versions only had one GPS delay which I had set at 1.5 seconds... is this the cause of missing acceleration data? What delay was used on previous version for external GPS... was it 1.5 ...
