Using on the road
I have previously only used HLT on the road to take video, no problem there. The other day I just wanted to record my route so I could repeat later if I wanted. I realised I hadn't a clue how to start Lap Timer when not using video. Is the only way to create a start trigger point or is there as way ...

Is your OBD device connected via Bluetooth as well?naked_dave1 wrote:I got the Dual XGPS160 a few days after it came out. Worked beautifully with your app!

Re: Dual XGPS160
Well I emailed customer support but got no reply to my email. However, that's because "Dual GPS" was on it in seconds by PM after I made the above post so there was no need for a reply to the email. The good news is my device is once more fully functional so the rumours about poor service ...

Re: Dual XGPS160
That's good to know. I may be getting one sooner than I thought as my 150 has died today. As it is less than a year old I guess I'll be finding out if the rumours about customer service are true or not.

Re: Dual XGPS160
One of the features that is attracting me to the 160 is the ability to record a route without using HLT. Sometimes that is all I want to do. Can you connect the 160 to a PC and download the recorded route or is it compulsory to have either an android or iOS device to access this feature? What format...

Re: Dual XGPS160
Yes, it's Bluetooth only for iPhones or other mobiles. The USB connector is just for charging. However, I'm not sure about when connected to a PC via USB as I've never connected my 150 to a PC.

Re: Dual XGPS160
Very informative, thanks for that. Regarding Bluetooth, I find any BT connection to be unreliable. No matter what you are connecting they will inexplicably drop the connection from time to time and usually only a re-boot of one or both devices gets it up and running again. Someone has to come up wit...

Re: Dual XGPS160
Bit of a mixed bag really. Enough to make me hold off a purchase for now. It seems you can't get at the data logging data yet. That is a poor show if true. The customer support looks suspect as well.

Thanks. Was about to order from Amazon when I noticed the U.S reviews.

Re: Dual XGPS160
This has got some poor reviews on Amazon.com. Anyone else got one that can comment?
