Acceleration calibration is tightly connected to GPS. So I assume this GPS connection issue is the reason.

Re: VBOX Sport NMEA Sentences
Yes, this is a proprietary RL protocol we are using, no "Standard NMEA". I think standard wouldn't work for the BT connection bandwidth.

Re: Problem with GoPro Video
One question though, gopro writes an additional file once 2 gigs of data have gone by from the initial start of recording. Just asked myself if this is a limitation from your SD card's file system? If I recall right, FAT16 is limited to 2 or 4 GB files... Maybe you try a different file system type?...

Re: Problem with GoPro Video
Yes, any time. You can compose any footage you bring over to your iPhone. The downside is you will not get support aligning lap recordings with the video attached. LapTimer will present a filmstrip you need to select the lap's end manually. To edit the videos linked to a lap, goto Lap List, select ...

Re: LapTimer (Rookie, Petrolhead, GrandPrix) v17 announcemen
O.k., so it is the database... Two options: 1) wait for availability of 17.0.6 and try again, 2) follow this instructions and send your databases to me. I will repair them and send them back. It is not possible to get your hands onto the crash logs without iTunes. As iTunes is a virus for you, I'm s...

Re: [FAQ] OBD "Problem Cars"
Update: the upcoming bugfix release 17.0.6 will add automatic detection of faulty PIDs and add them to the exclusion list. Once 17.0.6 is online, I will remove this thread to "Outdated". In case you have already excluded PIDs, please do the following once you are on 17.0.6: Write down your...

Re: LapTimer (Rookie, Petrolhead, GrandPrix) v17 announcemen
Hi Jamie, That's awesome footage, although I don't like the documented crash :-) Would you please be so kind and send the crash logs (see http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1115). Should be not so difficult to identify what the reason is. At the time it crashed, 2nd lap has been ru...

Re: Problems this weekend VBOX Sport and GoPoint BT1 autocro
For the 0 Hz OBD drop outs: please check if you get a red indicator in the OBD Gadget ("Engine ..." in e.g. GPS View) from time to time. This would be an indicator it is not about a bluetooth issue, but a protocol problem between LapTimer and your car.

Re: Problems this weekend VBOX Sport and GoPoint BT1 autocro
Don't believe the first one will disturb much, the second definitively will. VBOX+BT1 already adds a small penalty to the BT1's update rate (1 Hz), additional traffic (even simple stay alive communication) will have an impact.

Please check the FAQ two items above: http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1338 Whenever it is about OBD issues and BMW M3s, that's the correct address :-D I work an a versatile workaround for the errors sent by M3s regularly. Until this is available, please exclude the PIDs generat...
