Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
Have you tried selecting LapTimer -> Settings -> Expert Settings -> OBD Tweaks -> Ignore NO DATA replies? Harry I saw that and was thinking about it, but I observe "signs" and the sign said "don't touch if you are not expert" Now, with your permission - I will try it. Thanks. It...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
Had time to give it another try today. Dual gps160 seemed stable (no helper app, but it is paired to the Moto X and to HLT.) Is that OK? 4 OBD2 sensors all pair to Moto X ok, I can use them all with "Torque" the diagnostic app (NOT at the same time as HLT) but with HLT they all drop out af...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
As I remember, the air navigation apps are iOS, not Android. I don't believe that Dual offers any guarantee that their devices will work with any Android device. The one I have came with a small instruction booklet, that explained how to connect it to android devices/apps. So I guess that implies i...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
Bad time with the Dual gps 160 and the obd sensors. I had to pair all with the Moto X phone first to get HLT to see & connect with them all. Did not have to use Dual helper app. Two of the obd sensors would randomly disconnect & reconnect every minute or so. The Dual would last 4 - 5 min &am...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
Hi, The predefined sensors are all Wifi sensors with a known IP/port. To add a BT device, you always need to pair the device and add the sensor in LapTimer's Sensor List. Please make sure no other app is accessing the dongle at the same time - this will not work. LapTimer has a more sensible OBD in...

Re: Is there a list for bluetooth obd2 sensors? Android only
Tested 4 from Amazon. $10-$20 range. Tested trying to connect with 2 apps Torque ( an engine diagnostic app) and HLT All were bluetooth/android 1) BAFX plugged in to 2004 Corvette no power light and caused false diagnostic codes to appear (I cleared all codes prior and this particular car will displ...

Re: Dual XGPS160
"Moto X battery saver" sound like another tool smartphone manufacturers add on top of Google's plain Android. These tools are a pain... - Harry I agree, but the battery life is not so great on any of these phones. Especially if you shoot pictures or video, real battery killers. So custome...

Re: Dual XGPS160
Anyway, I will check if I see any difference in behavior for my devices... For now I can make it work, without the helper app. So here is how I do it. The helper app is gone off the phone. I start HLT, go straight to GPS screen, turn on Dual, wait a bit for device is "seen" by HLT, wait a...

Re: Dual XGPS160
Is there a difference between "connect" and "communicate"? When I turn on HLT then turn on Dual I get an immediate message "so you know - you have connected to a trusted device ....." but HLT says "searching...." and the dot is red on Dual (green on motorola i...
