Darn. I already bought 2 Ram suction mounts, a Ram roll bar mount and now I need one for the roof. I am getting between 6 and 9 accuracy. I will get better than that on the roof?
Raining here today but I will test it tomorrow.

Re: Mounting Dual Electronics XGPS160 SkyPro GPS
The roof is aluminum. Will it still help to have it on the roof? If I'm going to roof mount it in going to get a real GoPro mount or another RAM mount.

Re: Mounting Dual Electronics XGPS160 SkyPro GPS
I went ahead and rigged the GPS holder using a cheapy Amazon gopro holder. I used the sticky gopro mount for the bottom of the Dual XGPS160. That's when the puzzle began. There are no pieces that fit together to get it mounted. All the gopro links are 2 "finger" on one side and 3 on the ot...

Re: iPad mini A1432 (iPad mini 1)
Ok thank you. I read the iPad 1 is slow on iOS 9. But no way to go backwards. I tried downloading iOS 7 and installing it. Just gave me an error. May look at an iPad 2. I'm just worried if I go with too new an iPad I'll end up with the jello video like the iPhone 6. A couple other times it randomly ...

iPad mini A1432 (iPad mini 1)
I have the iPad mini I haven't been using and decided to erase everything on it and use it just for HLT. Having a bigger screen and the fact is has less shaky video than my iPhone 6s Plus I figured it was a good idea. Doing some testing it seems to go to the home screen when I am trying to do the ov...

Re: New video each lap?
No problem. And thank you for making me spend about 600$ just before xmas to optimize HLT!
At least we have track days sat and sun dec 26 and 27 so I get to test everything.

Re: Dual XGPS160
I got mine yesterday. It seems to update at 10hz. I am getting between 6 and 9 feet accuracy according to the HLT screen. I am having a heck of a time getting it to pair up. I pretty much have to reset the phone each time. It's connecting to bluetooth no problem but the HLT app screen keeps showing ...
