Is there any way to preserve and share a modified track set?
I corrected Pitt Race Full to have correct turn numbers for the old north track, correct coordinates for the new south track and I added Turn 10. I submitted this for certification. However, until (or if) it is certified, I would like to be able to preserve it and to share it with other people using...

Re: POIs seem to be off for Pitt Race Full
I don't know about the south track alone since I was looking at the full track. I don't have a video but my daughter does. The turns identify correctly on the video even though the POI co-ordinates appear to be way off. For instance, T4 South is identified as being at N 40° 50' 32.6" x W 80° 20...

POIs seem to be off for Pitt Race Full
I tried to check it on the map but Harry's map is way out of date compared to Google. However, the old north track seems to be spot on while the new south track seems to be way off. I confirmed this by hovering over the turns in Google and comparing the co-ordinates. I'm not exactly sure where the P...

Oops! I edited it to add the message before I saw your reply.
No hurry. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong. The image is 125x61 pixels and 60Kb in size o it should fit.

How do you load an avatar file?
Every time I try to do this I get a message that it can't be done right now and I should try later. Later never seems to come, which suggests I may be doing something wrong. The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again la...

Re: Custom PIDs?
Yes, custom PIDs are planed. There are actually several things to do: Enhance the database scheme to support missing engine parameters / channels (like brake pressure). Use these fields in displays and functionality (like overlay or real time displays). Probably provide some fallback to calculate t...

Multiple bluetooth devices
Maybe this is obvious but can HLT connect to two devices at the same time, specifically to a Kiwi3 and a GPS receiver. With an external GPS receiver I could put my iPhone in the console or glove box when I am not allowed to use a suction mount.

Do you have to have your iPhone connected to power?
You get warned if you don't, but is the drain high enough that you might run out of battery power in a 20-30 minute session?
I usually charge my iPhone between sessions and that has always been enough for other apps.

Re: Ideal Lap
Clearly this is more difficult than I anticipated. I looked at it from an overly simplistic standpoint. Suppose you had two laps. In the first you apex a corner at 40mph and reach 120 on the subsequent straight. In the second you apex at 45 but only reach 115. The ideal is 45 and 120, except it real...

Ideal Lap
I keep a spreadsheet of corner entry speeds, speeds at the end of the following straights and anything else of interest. I then analyze how my best laps compare. On my last DE, I actually improved my previous outing on this track by 5 seconds, from 2'14" to 2'9". That's a lot, but when I a...
