Re: Settings for Motocross
On portrait / landscape. On a motorbike there is no lateral acceleration for your device as you compensate it by your lean angle. Anyway, rotation is blocked while driving more than a certain speed. Tire codes are not so different for cars and - at least - street bikes. What size do you want to ente...

Re: Video overlay delay
Even in cases LapTimer sets the sync point itself (i.e. when recording is done including video recording), a certain correction needs to be applied. The value used is the Video Delay. Overlay Synchronization is used when aligning a lap and a video from scratch, i.e. when no hint is available how vid...

Re: OBDII info on a '00 C5 Corvette
1996: The OBD-II specification is made mandatory for all cars sold in the United States. So in case the car has been sold in the US in 2000, it should have OBD II available. For Europe, EOBD (= OBD II) has become mandatory for cars starting in 2001, so you may be out of luck here. Please keep in mi...

Re: Video overlay delay
Hi, Delay settings do not influence accuracy. My recommendation is to not change any from the delay settings for the sensors usually. They define how the three sensor sources (GPS, accelerometer, OBD) relate to each other in terms of timing / lag. You will probably need to change the Video delay how...

Re: Using HT with my Hydra EMS. Can I add its Log data after
Hi,
The only import interface is the .hlptrl file format. Everything else is export only. So currently, there is no way to import csv files. I have the feature request to import logger data on my list, depending on the demand it will make it to a release sometime

Re: Normal iPhone Video Recording App vs HLT Difference?
Hi again, When connecting to the so called audio capture device, LapTimer asks for the "default" capture device. I have tested availability of alternative devices - iOS has a service to request the full list of available devices here. When plugging in the stock headset, the audio capture d...

Re: Getting Started.
Hi again, Well - the triggers should actually not influence the gap calculation... They switch the current track but that's all... What did you change for your stop trigger? Did you have two of them? I'm very interested if you can reproduce the issue. Your last description with the gap starting at -...

Re: Android Based System?
To get RPM and other engine data, you need to connect an OBD sensor. Please check these links: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/OBD_II.html and http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Compatibility.html
