Laps not tripping intermittentatly

I'm running the latest version of the iOS version of the software, the one which says in the notes something about a fix when crossing N/S or E/W finish lines sometimes laps won't trip. I think it's possible we're still seeing a variation of this issue. Several times laps would fail to trip while dr...

ability to divide sessions after the fact

I run the timer in an endurance car with multiple drivers, and in a track car with multiple drivers. Often the car is stopped for only ~2x the lap times for a change, or around 5 minutes and we forget to hit the stop button. Tagging drivers one lap at a time is quite onerous so it'd be great if I co...

Re: Splitting a session into two

The setting is to tie laps into one session for cases in which there is a gap bigger than 0. So kind of your requirement the other way around. - Harry Oh I see, so this is when the end of a lap happens, but the start happens a while later, I'm not sure I understand how that would ever happen since ...

Re: Splitting a session into two

I spent this morning cleaning up my data, and I'm guessing that not many folks do multiple drivers in one car. Unfortunately I do this a lot as my wife and I share a car, and then I run local endurance races (24 hours of Lemons and Lucky Dog). Turns out the workflow of partially tagging a session wi...

Re: Splitting a session into two

Yup I already do that, but I like to be able to do the tagging by "Session" and get all the laps. In addition I like to be able to see the appropriate colour in the session view to know which driver was driving each session. I typically look at my laps in session view, and not lap view all...

Re: Can Laptimer be used without internet connection?

By "Loading a track" I mean going to prepare race and picking my track. Sitting at my desk maybe I know what we're doing wrong. 1. Laptimer Main screen 2. Pick "Prepare Race" 3. here I've clicked "Load Track" 4. I pick "Select Track" 5. and then picked the tra...

Re: Splitting a session into two

Thank you I'll go take a look there, is there a way to split up an existing session into two separate sessions to better track between two different drivers?

Splitting a session into two

I thought I'd done this in the past but now I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it, nor can I seem to find anyone referencing how they've done it. My wife and I were sharing the car at an event this past weekend and usually I remembered to stop the session when she came in for the swap, ...

Re: Can Laptimer be used without internet connection?

I've had the same experience as John Dea is describing, I've loaded everything at home, then gotten to the track and it's required that I load it again. I can't figure out the exact steps but it's happened to me several times now. Twice the track had WiFi and once I had to tether to my phone but it ...
