Re: More Fields in Timer Views
Overall acceleration is a colored indicator for the combined lateral + lineal acceleration (Kamscher Kreis). It is colored green, yellow, red depending on the levels configured. The 'ahead' of reference and behind reference is indicated by the red square above. As long as it is red, you are ahead (b...

Re: More Fields in Timer Views
Thanks. BTW, the 'Overall Acceleration' line is replaced by OBD data when a dongle is connected.

Re: Help Understanding Charts
Overall, the reference lap (red) has been faster than the selected lap (gray). This can be seen from the final blue value which is around + 1 second. In the beginning, the selected lap has been better than the reference lap. This is due to the fact the gray line is faster in most places than the red...

Known Bugs and Issues in LapTimer v15
This thread is to document known problems and resolutions. I have added some color coding to see for which bugs fixes are available already ( green - solved ) or will be available in the future ( red - open ). LapTimer crashes the second time passing a stop/go trigger while video recording - This pr...

Re: OBD dongles and CAN data
There is no fundamental change in the communication to OBD devices. The only thing I changed a year ago is about initializing the ELM chip in a way it doesn't drop connection from time to time. I'm willing to add some support for what ever you are creating. However, I need a clear design and sample ...

Re: Qstarz BT-Q1000eX
Currently, there is no 10Hz GPS Apple certified. I expect this to change over time, but the best you can get now is 5Hz (see www.gps-laptimer.de/Compatibility). The Qstarz can be connected using roqyBT4 / jailbreak - although I do not recommend to do this. As soon as devices get available, I adopt t...

Re: Wrong language
Thanks for sending this! 1+2 will be fixed in the next version. 3 is 'works as designed' on iPhone (as there is actually no selection), in Trainer, this effect should be turned off anyway. 4 is currently going through a redesign as I plan to support landscape in general. However, removing the naviga...
