Re: Unable to connect to Tom Tom GPS with iPhone 4S and Pro
Hi,
Found a well hidden information on a change in iOS5: accessories need to be declared by an app to get allowed to connect to them. I guess 14.3 will fix this (backward compatibility) and I will add theses declarations to future versions.

Re: Unable to connect to Tom Tom GPS with iPhone 4S and Pro
Hi, So it seems to be a general problem with the iOS5 tool chain used for 14.2, not the iPhone4S, and not the accessory type. The Standard most probably works because iOS5 treats it different as a pre iOS5 compile. As stated below, I can test once I receive a test device. I've submitted LT 14.3 beca...

Re: Setting up a private Trackside Server
Thanks Sean for your design. The communication between iPhone and the server in Cologne is working a bit different. Data size is minimized by sending every piece of data only once. The server caches everything and joins information from one client by using a (nearly) unique id. So it is very effecti...

Re: No visualisation. Action buttons don't work
Hi, Sure you had a GPS position when recording? Did you get a constant blue light (or red / blue blinking)? If not, you received the last fix the UltiMate stored repeated. As LapTimer has a point instead of an area, all the display functions will not work. To exit the data recording area, press the ...

Re: Lateral Gs in Dashware
The option in DashWare to turn around direction is exactly for this, what exactly is the problem? If I change for DashWare, it will break TrackVision, right?

Re: Setting up a private Trackside Server
Hi Sean, On the dedicated server: I had one or two discussions on this in the past. The server is a MacOSX machine running in my office. No replications so far and probably some investment needed to roll it out elsewhere. Reason there are no further servers out today is that the one here is probably...

Re: Talladega Gran Prix Raceway has wrong track
Hi, You are right, this trigger is completely wrong. I had a look into the latest Talladega GP track layout. It seems the Google Earth pictures are pretty outdated. As the start / finish moved to the north west - and the line changed here, I cannot correct this from here. Anyone around who recorded ...

Re: External GPS - which to get.
All GPSes need to be positioned near the windscreen. For lap timing and data recording, GPS conditions cannot be good enough.
