Re: A way to lock laps to prevent delete
Harry once told me that 100.000 over points is too much, occasioning the iPhone to lag, therefore HLT to lag too. This is visible whenever you pass the Start/Finish line and the GPS miss some points, becoming inaccurate for this couple of seconds. This issue is actually even documented somewhere in ...

Re: A way to lock laps to prevent delete
Hmm, I must be doing something wrong then: When I have a practice or after a race weekend, the amount of data that stacks up is pretty high. It's not uncommon to have 50+ laps per weekend. Therefore, with a 10Hz GPS and with a 2'10" lap, you can imagine the iphone can run out of space quickly (...

Is this viable?
Thanks

A way to lock laps to prevent delete
Hi,
Would be awesome to have a way to protect at least the best lap and the best partials so the cleaning up process after a track session would be easier. I would just delete all laps and save those ones, that are the ones that matter to me.
Cheers!
Andre

Re: Motorcycle Overlay
Okay, just sent to you. As you may see, if you plot it, it can get smooth and all, but the overlay data is not at all near accurate, so that's the reason I suggested the option to remove it. But I totally understand and respect what you say about not giving up. So could we have, at least until all i...

Re: Motorcycle Overlay
I have a feature request on automatically replacing measured acceleration by calculated already. So far the problem is the smoothing requires either a human brain or a much better algorithm to select the correct smoothing factor. The factor depends a lot on the GPS accuracy. While a 1 Hz GPS plot u...

Re: Motorcycle Overlay
Bump! Also, is there a way for the HLT to completely ignore the acceleration inputs, so if I want to use that I just select "calculate" and don't gather 30Hz of useless data? I guess the files would be much smaller, easier to be handled and much more accurate to the motorcyclists needs. Ch...

Motorcycle Overlay
Hi Harry et al., I'm having some problems with the new motorcycle graphic for the overlay. I'm don't know if either iPhone 4 or the Qstarz 818-BT 10Hz don't gather the correct data acceleration of the bike (I also tried recalculating the acceleration data, smoothing it etc), therefore is unable to p...

Re: Incoming calls, SMS and low battery warnings cut laptime
[Moved to "Using LapTimer"] It is not possible to block a low battery warning issued by iOS. The recommendation is to use an external power supply (please check http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Compatibility.html). Using all the features LapTimer provides requires a lot of energy. And taking ca...
