Re: iPhone vs. Android Smartphone

the transfer of the video to the smartphone take a lot of time. That's true only if you do the transfer over Wi-Fi. It's faster to take the camera out of the case, pull the SD card and put it into an Apple lightning to SD card adapter and plug it into your phone. That automatically brings up the ph...

Re: Recommended GPS for IOS

The Dual works fine for me with firmware 1.5.1. It isn't beta either.

Re: vbox sport and iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.1?

You may need to reset Bluetooth on the VBox. Press both buttons until you get rapid light flashing. Then try connecting again.

Re: [OP3+OBDLink MX+XGPS160] Choppy OBD data when XGPS160 in use

There's another thread where it's also been pointed out that noise in the OBD wheel speed data is related to the OBD data not lining up with the GPS speed data. The sensor delays may need to be tweaked.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track

The RaceCapture/Track doesn't have scripting. I use the CAN and OBD channel mapping features in the 1.9 version of the app, which still isn't available for iOS, *grumble*. I have to use a PC to program the RC/T. I'm not sure my configuration file will work on an RC/Pro that doesn't have Wi-Fi, not t...

I have iOS 10.3.2 on an iPhone 5s and it shows the VBox Sport in HLT when it's connected.

Re: vbox sport and iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.1?

Have you tried forgetting the VBox Sport in the Bluetooth menu, turning off Bluetooth, rebooting the phone and re-pairing and reconnecting?

Re: Impossible lateral acceleration data

it helped a tiny bit, it's really strange that it's repeatable every single lap looks the same, lat is bad but long and speed are fine CT is probably calculating lateral acceleration using the heading data. The easiest way is to use speed and yaw rate. But the heading data using a RaceCapture devic...

Re: Impossible lateral acceleration data

It's on the graph tab in the top menu. There's a box called acceleration/smoothing. Enter a number in the box. Bigger numbers give more smoothing at the cost of the usual distortion from low pass filtering. I don't think it will help, though, because of the low resolution of the RaceCapture GPS. Aft...

Re: Impossible lateral acceleration data

As I've said several times before, CT is worth the money you paid for it, i.e. nothing. CT does have an acceleration calculation smoothing function. I don't think it will help, though. CT is designed to be used with Racelogic devices like the Vbox Sport. The Vbox Sport gives you two more significant...
