Re: XGPS160 issues
Harry, Do you plan to have HLT support the later version of Dual firmware? I'm pretty sure the firmware problem isn't with the app, it's with the operating system. Harry can't do much about that. Besides, it's not at all clear that the 2.x and 3.x firmware is in any way superior to the latest 1.x v...

Re: Is it possible to set sector markers for Auto X?
Go to the lap list screen. That's where the course information will be accessible.

That's your problem. You need firmware 1.x, not 2.x. The latest firmware in the 1.x series is 1.5.1.
Go here: http://gps.dualav.com/explore-by-product/xgps160/ and download the 1.x.x firmware update pack and install it from a PC using a USB connection.

Re: Helpful Tips/Advise
Add GPS first. That gives you the most bang for the buck. Then add OBD. Meanwhile you can operate the GoPro manually and add the video later. I recommend getting the Apple SD card to lighting adapter to load GoPro videos into your iPhone. It's inexpensive and fast.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track
Firmware 2.11.0 allows CAN channels on the RaceCapture/Track without Lua scripting. Will HLT be able to see that data once I can configure a CAN channel correctly? The update rate with CAN should be much faster than for OBDII, even with parallel requests.

Re: Status of HERO5 support
But do the points all have different values when you're moving?Looking at the data output file vs the Harry Laptimer data file, the GoPro data has many more points.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track
I don't have autocross data yet with version 21. I was going this weekend, but the weather isn't cooperating and I don't feel like driving 500 miles round trip to drive in the rain. The next event is the second weekend in May.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track
Never mind. Apparently i didn't go through enough operations like deleting, reloading and rebooting. It works now. I had to do some units conversion for temperature from C to F and from kph to mph, but that's now built in. It's still annoying to not have a stable direction channel.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track
Yes, but I'm trying to determine the level of the problem, not solve it. If it's the interface with the app, it's something you will need to fix. If it's on a more fundamental level, they have a problem. Since it doesn't work with the older version of the app either and the new version hasn't been r...

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track
No rush, since 2.10.2 works. While there are some interesting channels that aren't available on 2.10.2 (maybe), I don't really need them. I say maybe because it's possible I could configure those channels with 2.11.0 and the 1.9.0 app, save the configuration, revert to 2.10.2 and restore the configu...
