Re: OBD2 bluetooth and external GPS bluetooth
Hi, By the way - LapTimer Pro v13 is available in App Store now (just a few minutes ago). Although the PCX KiwiWifi (only supported OBD sensor currently) uses Wifi and your Qstarz uses Bluetooth, there seem to be some interferences between the two. One of my beta users reported, that fixes sometimes...

Re: Regularity
Hi Tom, You can find a short description on the Regularity display here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/User_Interface.html, search for 'Lap Details' to find the section. "Regularity is a special feature that can be used for regularity events. With a target speed given (Speed), LapTimer calculates ...

Re: LapTimer crashes when attempting to access Add-Ons
Hi, This is a known bug that occurs on iPhone3Gs due to their limited main memory. LT version 12.1 requires quite some memory when it refreshes the track set list from the server. iPhone3Gs (and the first gen iPhone) crash once the update has been started. You may check if you are successful startin...

Re: Any ETA on when version 13 will be released?
Version 13.0 is submitted to Apple already. Usually it should pass quality assurance till end of next week (11th of March). As I need them to test some specialities this time, the process will probably take some days longer this time. Thanks for your patience, that's a bit un-deterministicly for us ...

Re: Best GPS accessory?
Is TomTom the hands down winner for best accessory to use? Is there any other GPS devices that would increase the accuracy? More specifically, the speed and g-meter accuracy since laptimes sound to be pretty accurate. Yes, currently it is. I update http://web.me.com/hschlangmann/LapTimer_Homepage/C...

Re: Autocross compatability
Hi, Yes, you can use LapTimer for 'one lap timing' with separate start and finishing points. Please consult http://web.me.com/hschlangmann/LapTimer_Homepage/Trigger_Logik.html on the concept used and http://web.me.com/hschlangmann/LapTimer_Homepage/Tracks.html on a short tutorial how to set up your ...

Re: PosiMotion G-FI
Hi, The G-Fi GPS works with LapTimer on non-jailbroken devices. Wifi connections are not limited by iOS, so no jailbreak is necessary. As both the G-Fi and the KiwiWifi use Wifi to connect to the iPhone, only one of both can be used at the same time. Please note that Wifi connections drain your devi...

LapTimer documentation
I receive frequent requests on LapTimer documentation. Here are the main directions: LapTimer documentation is available online only. Follow the 'LapTimer Documentation' link on http://www.gps-laptimer.de to get an introduction. LT's documentation received some critics in the early days. Today it is...
