Re: Installation of lap timer.
Hi,
The iPhone4S has been mounted using a Luxa2 H5 mount in the center of the windscreen. I needed to let it sit on the dash for lower vibrations. The iPhone was turned to left (counter clockwise), so the camera lens has been in the upper side.

Re: Emprum Ultimate vs. iPhone 4S GPS
I do not believe that 3G+ will effect time and speed to an extend it would matter. You may contact Emprum for this.

Re: Incorrect Gear Readings
I'd leave the gear ratios as they are but enter 4.95 (= 4.10 x 1.208) instead of 4.10 for the drive ratio. The logic LapTimer calculated gears from rpm and speed: rpm / gear ratio / drive ratio * wheel circumference = speed LapTimer selects the gear that equals this equation (using the right units f...

Re: Incorrect Gear Readings
Hi,
Looking into this there seems to be a secondary gear reduction. I have no idea how the Honda drive is constructed, but you may try multiplying this to the drive ratio.

Re: Multi-lap Autocross
Hi Greg,
single lap autocross is defined by a standing start, and a stop trigger. Depending on the layout, changing the stop to a stop / go trigger will probably solve the issue. Please post a sketch of your driving, this is making it easier to understand.

Hi,
Thought I start a number of polls to better understand how LapTimer is populated and perceived.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!

[Sorry, just destroyed the poll as I added an option - which in turn reset everything to zero. The missing items (I try to restore) were 4+4+2+1+7+0+0+1]

Re: Windshield Mounts
I have the Luxa myself. Being pretty impressed in the beginning, it has problems with vibrations too. As it is very flexible, I both attach it to the windscreen and let it 'sit' on the dashboard. This one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT96c3PHwhk&feature=channel_video_title) has been recorded ...

Re: Feature Requests
Setting to allow recording of a set number of laps at a time i.e. 1-5 I have some requests on this kind of 'race grouping'. Not scheduled yet. When the lap timer is used with the video feed of the IPHONE an icon in the lap list that indicates that this lap has already been overlayed when completed ...
