I will try that & post result at a later time.Harry wrote:P.S. Connection always takes some time as LapTimer needs to poll and does not receive a notification when a new sensor is connected. That's the reason it worked in GPS instead of Sensor List. Waiting longer will connect in Sensor List too I assume.

Re: Dual XGPS160
Ok, didn't think of this item initially as I thought it connected but did not deliver data. Some Android models do not connect to BT devices when using the official BT interface. For these phones, and old connection type named insecure connection needs to be used... LapTimer has a black list built ...

Re: Dual XGPS160
One more try with the Moto and the XGPS: in "LapTimer / Settings / Expert Settings" turn "Force Insecure BT Connections" on and try to connect the Dual afterwards. Turn the helper off before you do that. Harry Did as you say. Helper off, would not connect, UNTIL, I went from the...

Re: Dual XGPS160
froggy47, I suggest not starting HLT until the XGPS160 is connected to the phone (solid blue line). If it is started, kill HLT and restart it. Even with iOS 7.0.6 where Bluetooth isn't broken, or at least isn't as badly broken, HLT may not see the Dual if it's already using the internal GPS. Thanks...

Re: I accidentally moved an HLT folder - problem?
Please create a mail from within LapTimer / Contact button. This mail includes a list of directories LapTimer will search for videos. You can move videos between all of the named directories without losing a link. Movie files need to be store in the directories, not subdirectories of these dirs. Ha...

I accidentally moved an HLT folder - problem?
Trying to get this all working as best I can, I can't find much at all searching the forum for using HLT with android phones, sorry I try.
I used ES File Explorer to move com.harrys.laptimer from somewhere (I forget) to MOVIES. On the phone sd card.
Is that ok, need to move it back? Where?
Thanks.

For android finding the files to make a movie
I used (your suggestion) ESFileExplorer to "see" the files on my android phone. Which HLT file(s) do I move to my "Movies" file (android) which my desktop computer "explorer" CAN see? Thanks. Will then process the files on the desktop. Never mind, found it. HLT puts fil...

Re: Dual XGPS160
The Dual just connects to the phone internal gps. What does this mean? - Harry My moto x smart phone (and all smart phones so far as I know) has a built in 1mhz gps sensor. HLT has that on the sensor list along with the Dual. When I do the last procedure you suggested, HLT connects (blue line solid...

Re: Dual XGPS160
That's really strange... Try to kill the app and power cycle the XGPS160. Finally, restart the app. Last chance before I give up. :-( - Harry Tried that. The Dual just connects to the phone internal gps. HLT sees the Dual and I touch it, it goes to Initialization, I touch set, I get the Information...
