How to transfer multi-lap videos from iPhone 4s to PC?
At Road Atlanta my HLT repeatedly failed to recognize start/finish, probably due to an overhead pedestrian walkway. So I ended up w/ several multi-lap videos, obviously rather large files. I know I won't have timing or overlay data but I'd like to save the video. When I try to overlay or move it to ...

Re: Harry's LapTimer Rookie v17.1 for Android available
Thanks. Are you suggesting that the Android versions may always lag behind iOS in functionality? I don't use anywhere near the features it already has.

Re: Harry's LapTimer Rookie v17.1 for Android available
Harry, I've been running HLT for a couple of years and my 2-year AT&T/iPhone commitment will be over 11/3. I'm sick of AT&T and Apple and am considering switching to a Galaxy and another carrier. Are you confident that you will have Android Petrol Head up and running by next Spring?

Lap times, video - nothing working right.
At the last 2 events I did, at Memphis and Barber most everything was messed up. E.g: Lap 1 would show a time of say 1 min., lap 2 5 mins., lap 3 10 mins. - none correct. Sometime it cut off lap early, other times it may have strung multiple laps, in whole or part, together. Although several laps sh...

My bad, I ran a test iPhone video and it does it too. Did not used to. May be a QuickTime issue.

Re: iPhone 4 GPS performance
Thanks, Harry. Coupled w/ the recommendation to use an external GPS device if you want accuracy (and don't we all?), I read that to mean that you can maybe "get by" w/ a 3 alone. I have a buddy who was not satisfied w/ the performance w/ his 3 but is delighted w/ it w/ his 4. Sounds like t...

iPhone 4 GPS performance
The "Compatibility" page still says that iPhones "3 upward" need external GPS assistance. Is that true of the iPhone 4 or 4S? From what I understand the 4 is still 3g but the 4S is 4g - does that make any difference? Alternatively, can I add the Emprum to an iPhone 3 and get perf...
