Re: Automatic OBD can't link up with LapTimer

Right now the 2nd gen Automatic doesn't read all the Mode 1 PIDs. There is supposed to be an update in the next week or two to enable all those PIDs. That's why we're not getting coolant temp specifically ;)

Re: [FAQ] OBD Benchmarks

I was checking out posts in the Automatic forums and they are being coy about support for external programs. Do you have any benchmarks from that device yet? Or do you have to wait till they announce external support for that? hah

Re: LapTimer v19 Beta Testing announcement (iOS)

Does anyone have any benchmarks, or know of benchmarks for the various action cam wifi transfer rates? My Hero3 Black is really really slow, and I've seen there was a large speed bump on the 3+. I'm curious about the other models (Hero4 base, silver) and the Sony cams.

Re: Odblink MX Wifi a scam!

I wrote OBD Solutions (the actual people that make the MX WIFI hardware) about the issues and the lack of communication and firmware update. They said they are working on the firmware, but they cannot release for reasons beyond their control. He did not get into details about any date but it seems l...

Does v19 let you do GoPro video without using the internal iPhone video? Thanks! I couldn't tell from the release notes, heh.

Re: v18.9 Thoughts

Even without buying a Windows device you could download Visual Studio and run the emulator to see how it all works. There's a free version of VS2013 available.

Re: v18.9 Thoughts

Well, Windows Phones don't actually allow you to go into landscape mode on the home screen with the tiles. So that limits the problems associated with portrait/landscape. But Windows 8 tablets do go portrait/landscape, and it's not "pretty" but it works.

PS: Got the Engine Add-On, thanks!

v18.9 Thoughts

Hey Harry, I downloaded v18.9 from the app store last night and I have a couple observations: 1. I'm really digging the new "tile" interface. The idea of using the favorites to setup your home screen is great (just like Windows Phone ;) ). Are there any plans on letting the user change the...

Re: Odblink MX Wifi a scam!

Yea, pretty upset with this fiasco. Even in soft AP mode mine doesn't stay connected for more than about 5-10 minutes :/
