Can I use an iPod?

Some of the posts indicate this will work. Is that correct and do I need to do anything different? Are there benefits or problems? I currently use a 16Gb iPhone 5s. It does a fine job on video but lacks enough room. Research indicates I can buy a 64Gb iPhone 5s, which would fit my mount, but I can a...

Re: Track Attack

Thanks. I can find the Track Attack Facebook page, but it does not seem like a "support" site. Is there another Track Attack Facebook page for support? I have searched, but have not found anything... Doug There is an official Track Attack blog @ http://www.trackattackracing.com. While not...

Re: Dual XGPS 160 accuracy issues

Tripper. I see the difference in the Track Attack track plot but what about the data traces? I get a lot of variation from the iPhone, and I was considering the add-on GPS to improve that as well as the plot. The traces sometimes overlay exactly and sometimes are off by quite a bit. I'm not talking ...

Re: Dual XGPS 160 accuracy issues

Interesting. I was going to buy a 160 for exactly that reason, The Track Attack map traces are bizarre and the Track Attack people felt that was because of the 1Hz signal in the iPhone. Apparently not. It is uncorrectable drift, which is probably much worse over a month than an hour. Apparently GPS ...

Re: Dual XGPS150 Issues with iPhone X (IOS 12.3.1)

Interesting. I was considering getting an add-on GPS because the 1Hz on the iPhone produces weird HLT results in Track Attack. On the other hand, I also have the Apex Pro device. As a direct read-out on the dashboard Apex Pro works fine, but I have never been able to get the iPhone to actually recor...

What is the time in a csv file?

I'm sorry but I extracted the files and deleted them on my iPhone. When I opened the csv files the time were clearly not correct in terms of EDT. I was running in the day between around 9AM and 5PM, EDT. The times in the CSV file were 2-7PM! I suspect they are for another time zone but I don't know ...

Track Attack

I don't know if this is a HLT issue, a TA issue or a transfer issue but TA doesn't seem to have any method to contact them. I only found out about TA over the weekend and that I could load HLT data into it, which I tried yesterday. What I found was the lap trace over the track map and the speed trac...

Re: LapTimer v22 roll out this week

Braking at last. I can hardly wait. My daughter posted a video from VIR using V22 and the braking info was great. On a future release you ought to consider separate windows for throttle and brake, but that is only a minor point.

I figured that was the case.
