I am curious what phone is better for the lap timer using an external OBD and GPS?
Also a question for Harry. My friend just got the Gran Prix version for his iPhone 2 weeks ago and then a few days ago traded his iphone in for a droid. Does he have to repay for the app?
Thanks

Re: Max G forces iphone
AD08R's probably aren't the best tires out there anymore. Bridgestone RE-71R's are probably better. But with the aero you have on the car, you should be getting much more than 1g even with those tires. Are you sure your front tires aren't rolling over due to low pressure and insufficient negative c...

Re: Mounting Dual Electronics XGPS160 SkyPro GPS
Thank you. I guess I will have to try and see. BTW don't use Armorall on your car. I own a Detaiing company and there are so many other products out there better for your car. Plus you don't want a shiny dash it just reflects the sun into your eyes.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: Max G forces iphone
Ok thank you. I guess it was just me. At the track a few weeks ago it would go to 1 but never past. Wasn't sure if it was the iPhone 6 plus or it was the actual g forces. I just thought it was odd that it would hit 1 quite a bit but never over.
Thanks

Mounting Dual Electronics XGPS160 SkyPro GPS
I am going to order it soon. I am curious how it would mount? I can't see it sticking to the dash on the track plus I am not sure I want it stuck there permanently. I don't have a problem doing on the windshield though. Looking for ideas. Thank you

Re: PWOW®ELM327 OBDII
I think I figured it out. Have to do it through itunes on my computer. Maybe I will sell the Drift Ghost and get the new Gopro. I just had bad experience with them when I owned the GoPro 2 Black I think it was. Would lock up all the time. But maybe they are more reliable now.
Thanks again

Re: PWOW®ELM327 OBDII
Can I import files from my Drift Ghost to the app to add the overlay? I have the 128g phone.

Re: PWOW®ELM327 OBDII
I understand. I have Dashware and played around with it last year and I plan on using the data to do the overlay on the gopro and Drift Ghost video footage. I am not sure if my car will show gear. It's a manual trans. But most important is speed, RPM, and G forces since the gopro type cams don't do ...
