Re: ODB to GPS speed calibration

I've been wondering how you do what you do ever since I started using HLT, considering that you seem to have a regular daytime job as well. ;-)

Keep it up though, it's very good work!

ODB to GPS speed calibration

I read this thread . For what I understand, there is no (semi-)automatic calibration of ODB speed to GPS speed. So here's another feature request: You drive a few hundred meters at different speeds, and HLT automatically adjusts ODB multiplier to match GPS speeds - for the currently selected vehicle...

Re: Wide angle lense, fish eye?

I am actually thinking more about the Multicams used for inside shots. As you can see in the video, the fixed one covers either both our heads or the steering wheel, not both. and the handheld one is naturally very shaky, wich would be less intense with a wide angle lens on. Also - if some other con...

Wow, this thing looks like you took it out of a Mad Max flick. :-)

Re: Wide angle lense, fish eye?

That one seems a bit over budget, but maybe it's worth it. Do you have some footage of you with the Olloclip on the Nordschleife on Youtube or something? :-)

Wide angle lense, fish eye?

Hi everybody, Mostly for the inside shots, but maybe also for the front facing iPhone, I am thinking of buying a cheap wide angle lens, or a fish eye. Or a set of both, as a major online store offers a few sets here. Now I don't want to "glue" anything onto my precious iPhone, but rather c...

Overlay: Add time next to date

Hi Harry, this time it's a minor tweak: add the current (GPS-?) time (maybe even with seconds) next to the date in overlays. Since many people upload their HLT videos to Youtube and the such, it would be a bit easier to find videos where you can see yourself driving from the perspective of another c...

Re: Selection of audio channel

Indeed, while it was doing a pretty good job, I noticed that atleast one of my Multicams was slightly out of sync to another - just a few frames, I think. Even though I am a bit of a perfectionist, I was to lazy to even try and correct it. ;-) Also, I had the impression that HLT mixes audio of all v...

Re: Selection of audio channel

I'd second that. Also, though I haven't tested it for sure, but I think HLT combines all the audio sources at the moment? If not, having this as an option would also be great. For example, in the Video I posted yesterday, the front facing iPhone's mic was pointed to the driver's side, and in the raw...

Re: Share your video !

Oh well, it's only two additional cameras.. ;-)
If it weren't for the money, I'd have one on the driver and passenger, one out the back window, and one in hand of the passenger to point at interesting scenes (like the F1 tribune in the video above) or overtaking cars...
Who knows, maybe next year. ;-)
