Re: Brake Sensor Overlay?

I was chatting with some friends and we realized even when videos show braking it is impossible to tell how much is being applied. The red bar moves but what does it mean? Therefore, a useful start that might be relatively easy to implement is some indication that brakes probably are being applied. ...

Re: Brake Sensor Overlay?

This topic may be a duplicate but it seems to be more recent than others. Researching brake pressure suggests it is way more complicated than your comments about special PIDs. I was looking at a Porsche forum and the description of what people were going through is a nightmare. It may simply be impo...

Is there a way to use HLT with the Apex Pro?

For those not familiar yet, Apex Pro is a relatively new dash-mounted device designed to show the capability of your car in red and how much of that you are getting in green. It has an IOS app that uses bluetooth to connect to the device and to save session data in graphical form. Green means you ar...

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

Bingo! Thanks. That sure isn't obvious. No wonder I couldn't remember. I'm sure I'll forget the next time so I'm going to stick your instructions in the dropbox folder.

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

If I select the file it just shows its contents. None of the options seem to relate to LapTimer. Do you think something has changed in Dropbox?

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

Nothing. If I double-click on it it asks me to Select an Application, Cancel or Search the App Store. None of the available applications are LapTimer. This is on a Mac Mini. The phone is attached and accessible via iTunes but Dropbox doesn't seem to know about it. The file is /Users/rbp/Dropbox/Apps...

Re: Batch file transfer off iPhone

I don't have any arrows. I have small checkmarks in green circles.

If I select the file it asks me what I want to open it in but LapTimer isn't an option. This is on a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro.

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

I have my .hlptrl file in Dropbox. Now I can't get it out!

Originally, I tested this and thought it worked. Now it doesn't.

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

Thanks.

Yes, I download and delete mail. Until I download it I DO get it on my iPhone but that is too iffy. Dropbox works better.

I was able to put it in dropbox. Than I played around with it a bit to see how to open it. Looks like it should work great.

Re: Restoring .hlptrl file

The source for this is identified on my computer as [HOWTO] Creating backups and restoring - Harry's GPS Suite Forum.pdf.
I can't seem to find it now and I have no idea where I got it in the first place!
