Thanks, I had gotten confused and thought that button added the POI only at the current location.
How wide a POI detection zone does the narrow/normal/wide options provide when using a 5Hz NMEA GPS.

Re: Multiple Track Configurations each with separate laps
Harry, thanks for all your quick responses. You are clearly a very dedicated guy. I just bought a Dual XGPS150A GPS and a BT-1 (for v16) so I'm definitely planning to put all your good work to use. I use more splits than most people would want so I'll try using the export/import option and see if th...

Re: Multiple Track Configurations each with separate laps
Thanks for the explanation ... LapTimer seems to be relying on the split triggers being predefined in the track registry. If I download a track and add personal split triggers and then later have to purge this to change configurations, I have lost my split triggers. My laps may be retained; however,...

Driving on the Edge
This is a great new book by Michael Krumm on race driving technique. One of its most important points is that braking is the least understood and the often the most important skill to going fast. With an OBD connection and the brake timing data it provides, you have the raw data to help drivers bett...

Best Virtual Lap as Reference
When working on improving driving technique, it is useful to work on one split at a time. You might want to spend the first few laps of a run working on one split and then switch to another split. If you had the ability to select best virtual lap as the reference lap, this would be easy because it c...

Multiple Track Configurations each with separate laps
Many tracks have multiple configurations and it would be useful to be able to treat them separately and have laps stored for each. Ideally, you would want certified track with multiple configurations and the ability to select one active configuration. So, for example, with Buttonwillow you would hav...

Option to switch between video and gauge display when video
It would be useful to have the option to record video while displaying the gauges.
Currently, video recording can't be done as an additional function of 'learning' mode which requires having the gauges displayed.

Adding POI's via the Map view is not working
The documentation says that new POI's can be added in the Map view by tapping and then positioning; however, that does not appear to work. I have the latest Pro version. Am I missing something or is this just broken. I'm attempting to add split triggers to a track I just downloaded.
