Re: Data is out of sync with video
The Racebox Mini has a high update rate, so the delay is low. LapTimer will use Sensor Delays / External GPS Sensor for it. The default value is 0.7. I can't say more because the startup time of videos has a high variance depending on system load. So you really need to select a reference lap and tun...

Re: Internal Video Freezes on out lap
I do not maintain a compatibility list for iPhone (or other smartphones) except setting the minimal OS version. It is well possible the number of videos on the one side, and the age of an iPhone 8 introduce issues. I'd recommend to move older videos and original videos that have been overlaid alread...

Re: Data is out of sync with video
You can’t change the relation of GPS, OBD, IMU after the fact. It is only the video / all data relation that can be changed.

Re: Internal Video Freezes on out lap
Is it possible you overlaid a video in-between? This may corrupt media library and create problems with any access to the cam, photos or videos afterwards. Once LapTimer gets slow / blocks after an overlay, reboot the phone and it will work again. Known problem occurring for some iPhone...

Re: Data is out of sync with video
Video, GPS, engine, and IMU data cannot be synced automatically. Video, engine, and IMU data is coming in with arbitrary sensor delays, while GPS comes with a defined and precise timestamp. That's the reason LapTimer uses configurable delays set in Expert Settings. These delays give LapTimer a hint ...

Re: Change Start/Finish position of an existing track
To disable a track set, it is unloaded. Unloading means, you goto Lap List and swipe / long press delete the row showing "User Track Set...". For track sets available from our repository, this is no problem, because you can reload it from the server at any time. User track sets are stored ...

Re: Kiwi 3 OBD Refresh Issue with BMW
The snapshot is showing there is communication (including specific PIDs), but obviously communication is not stable and incomplete. Two possible reasons: #1 The optimized communication applied by LapTimer doesn't work with the OBD gateway. One thing you can try is setting LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣...

Re: Moving laps from one phone to another
Data is stored in LapTimer so called "sandbox" using a binary / proprietary data format. This is an app specific folder accessible by the app only. Transferring data is done using the lossless .hlptrl (or compressed .hlptrz) format. One device exports a selection or all laps, the other imp...

Re: RaceBox Mini
This looks like the Mini disconnects from time to time. In situations like this, LapTimer will fall back to the internal sensor. As a result you will find a number of fixes anywhere between 1 and 25 Hz - depending on connection times. Please start with testing the connection: start LapTimer and let ...
