Re: Export Data to PC

Hi, 'Mail' should bring up a mail message prepared for sending (you need to send / define the receiver). If not, your mail account is probably not yet set up. Please check if you can send a mail from your Mail app first. PDF export is available from the data recording screens only. Navigate to Lap D...

Re: Can the camera be changed on iphone 4

Hi Paul, v13.4 supports video recording using the back camera and the device turned to the left only. A lot of mounts I know allow this position, which one do you use? Good news for v14.0 is a set of added functionality around video recording. This version will support both turns to the right, and t...

Re: KIWI WIFI ODBII DATA

Hi again, yes, these affects steps #3 to #5. I have no idea on the protocols exact speed. However, as stated above, LapTimer can measure the overall request time for #1 to #7 - which includes #3 to #5. Here is an example of a 2005 Porsche 911 delivering an update rate between 1.0 and 1.4 Hz (which i...

Hi, The process is as follows: 1. LT request a piece of data (PID) 2. WLAN latency + transmission time 3. Re: Those of you looking for a cheap Wifi OBD reader..

This is what I expected, the devices look pretty similar. Seems to be an un-branded version.

Re: Those of you looking for a cheap Wifi OBD reader..

As far as I know, the update rate depends mainly on the car's bus and not on the wifi interface. Newer cars usually have higher rates than older ones, simply because the processing power of the cars' electronics is getting higher year by year. Yes, exactly. The OBD dongle adds some extra burden (e....

Re: Video recording more than one lap

My plan is as follows: Users can start video recording manually. When LapTimer triggers, video recording is started latest. Afterwards LapTimer records video continuously - as long as at least double the space of the video is available on the device. Every time a lap is timed, both start and end poi...

Re: Phone won't overlay from my sessions yesterday

Hi,

Please check how much space you have left on your device. As long as the original video and the GPS recording exists, we will get this fixed ;-)

Re: Bluetooth

Hi, As all currently available BT OBD dongles, it is not certified by Apple and will not connect. Sorry. - Harry Have Apple indicated if the situation is likely to change in the future Harry? Thank you Carl As there has been a lot of discussion on this early, and they didn't change, I'd assume it w...
