Re: Is the App purchase price a one off payment or a subscription?

Probably permission to access GPS has been rejected when asked? Whenever you get a request for permissions when using LapTimer, please agree. The app will not work as expected otherwise. To restore upgrades, press Restore in LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Add-ons (iOS), or "repurchase" it fro...

Re: Easy way to compare laps?

Yes, select a lap you want to compare to the reference lap from Lap List and follow Data Recordings / Charts. This will include a win/loss analysis for every position on track. GrandPrix required. See the Train the Trainer document on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.

Re: Laps not recorded when battery low?

Not yet. I will probably add this feature for the upcoming Harry‘s Biker app. There are many issues with background recording however, especially video will never work.

Re: Hillclimb - Configuring track

Please have a look into the Trigger Logic document available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation. Not sure I understand if the triggers are used as designed.

Re: OBDLink MX disabled

Selecting GPS is wrong and will disturb OBD connection making. Delete this sensor entry and try again. Disabled means the sensor cannot be activated currently. Possible reasons are: the sensor type is disabled in Expert Settings, you are driving (speed > 0) and have an external GPS sensor connected ...

Re: Hillclimb - Configuring track

Have you defined a standing start or a regular start trigger? The later need to be passed at speed, you can’t set it in the staging area. You can delete triggers from a track set by going to Lap List, scroll to your track, and select the User Track Set row. In this view, you can delete a trigger usi...

Re: Laps not recorded when battery low?

The app is inactivated when a system alert is coming up. This is like pushing the app to background. This is the reason a missing power supply is shown as a warning (yellow alert), and the connection is shown in illustration #3 of Quick Reference.

Re: External mic or change audio source?

LapTimer always used the audio stream coming with the Master video. This is independent from the source (internal cam or action cam) - it is just a question of the video's role during overlaying. What is not possible - and this is what this discussion has been about - is to select an arbitrary video...

Re: Laps not tripping intermittentatly

In case you see something like this (multi laps in one recording), please export this multi-lap to .hlptrl and send it to me (Harry@gps-laptimer.de). Besides inconsistent data (positions, speed, driving direction), it is certainly always possible somethings needs to be fixed.
