Re: non-preset orientation - acceleration calibration

Please use it on a race track as recommended a number of times. I do not see a reason it shouldn’t work for you. And please do not run such experiments on public roads.

Re: VW G79 sensor - throttle position

As written in the other thread, I can't comment on this tooling. To check which throttle positions are available, connect the OBD sensor and wait until everything is up and running. Goto Sensor List and select the OBD adapter. This will show you a long list of throttle PIDs available for your car. -...

Re: Errors importing track day data

It is probably the 18th lap included in the export that triggers this issue. Please remove the complete section from <intermediates> to </intermediates> to allow an import: 1) Rename the .hlptrz file to .hlptrl.gz 2) Use Ungzip to remove compression and get the .hlptrl file 3) Open that file using a...

Re: non-preset orientation - acceleration calibration

There is no speed threshold, this is an indirect parameter: when driving fast, driving directions measured are getting smoother / smaller. To recognize a straight, LapTimer requires a number of fixes not differing by more the 1.3 degree.

Re: non-preset orientation - acceleration calibration

It is not correct to force calibration. This has been added for testing and is an anachronism now that automatic presets are available. What I wanted to say is that individual calibration is working automatically and without monitoring it in the Acceleration Assistant. Especially the last step is wo...

Re: Support of TI SensorTag

You want to use these sensors to measure acceleration? Camper uses these sensors for leveling, not sure it is a simple "enable the feature in LapTimer".

Re: Errors importing track day data

Hi, I have the same issue. I recorded 2 track days this weekend and tried transferring from iPhone7 to iPhoneX. It transfers only the laps from the first day. Tried multiple times, laps, database but it always comes back with the "parsing error" message similar to the first post. I even erased the ...

Re: Errors importing track day data

This depends on the actual content. :-)
You can remove intermediate sections completely. They can be recreated using one of the Recalculate functions at any time. Take care to remove both opening and closing tags so the file is still valid XML.
