Re: Rookie Edition and ODB data?

Rookie connects to OBD adapters and records OBD data. Viewing live data is limited compared to Petrolhead or Buddy with the Engine feature added. Both have the full Engine View enabled which Rookie has not. To watch a small set of OBD data in Rookie, change to GPS View. It will show RPM and one more...

Re: GoPro Hero 7 Supported?

Not tested, but should work by selecting either the HERO 6 BE or HERO 2018 setting. Once you have tested it, please let us know.

Re: Displaying lap times while recording

Yes, the only limitation is that changing the view while recording a video is not supported for Android. This means you cannot start video recording in Timer / Video / Preview and return to Timer after pressing the record button. Instead, enable Manual Timing in LapTimer Settings first. Goto Timer /...

Re: XGPS160 vs GPS in GoPro 7

For any rate beyond 10 Hz, you will not see relevant improvements in timing accuracy. I'm not aware on any GPS chip delivering data at 18Hz, but I got this number for HEROs somewhere too. Timing accuracy depends mostly on position accuracy, not the update rate. LapTimer does not support action cam G...

Re: Can't load a Challenge

I'll restart the server. I should do this once a month... No challenges available means there are no challenges available for your track. This includes the situation the server cannot be contacted (because it is down, or your device misses an Internet connection).

Re: OBDII Throttle position display meter

Whether throttle is available in the standard position or D, etc, depends on the car, not the adapter or app version. You need to test which one is working for your car. Please always start with the standard PID. Throttle is going through calibration, to get a proper 0-100% display, you will need to...

Re: Gears indication and Drive ratio

I‘d suggest 45/17*1.652, i.e. 4.37
In case this doesn’t work, please post any precise speed readout for a known gear and a known rpm value. This allows inverse calculation of the missing value.

Re: OBDII Throttle position display meter

I usually used for throttle PID D, but after last update it doesn't work any more :-\ Not related to the last version. I know new versions are often suspects to all kinds of issues, but this is some other configuration issue. ;) I use Position D all the time and it is definitively working. I even s...
