Re: GPS Speed Not Correct during Corners

This speed values are as delivered by the BadElf. Speed from GPS is a frequent issue - even for 10 Hz devices. Although I doubt there are options to change this immediately and in the first place, please contact Bad Elf support. When talking to them, please make sure they understand that the data re...

Re: Videos end at 10:24

GoPro cams split longer videos into 4GB chunks. You need to join them using some video editor before LapTimer can handle them. We had discussions and solutions a few times here in the forum.

Re: Invalid Master Video v24 - Grand Prix

The snapshots attached do not show up. Invalid master video usually mean that the video linked is not accessible / corrupted. Please provide the following details so we can check what is causing this: #1 are you on iOS or Android #2 has the video been recorded using the internal cam or using an acti...

Re: Location of Video file to conduct successful overlay

It is well possible this is related, but actually the problem occurs for H.264 videos too. See the report for a sample video failing to get overlaid. It is from a HERO8. The problem seems to be around the pixel format ( yuvj420p(pc, bt709) ) but I'm not sure. Metadata: major_brand : mp41 minor_versi...

Re: Video overlay - No "export" button

You are running Rookie. ;-) This edition does not support video recording and overlaying. Please upgrade to Petrolhead from Administration / Add-ons / Petrolhead Upgrade.

Re: Location of Video file to conduct successful overlay

No, this is the well known problem with video encodings used by the H7 and later. IOS will display this Videos, but changing frames to create a new overlaid video doesn‘t work.

I have a sample video here for further investigation and revisit that topic once I have all iOS14 issues fixed.

Re: New track map, counter-clockwise vs clockwise

Yes, we can do this for you. Please drop us a mail to Tracks@gps-laptimer.de and name the track set (precise name or ID) you need in opposite direction. Once this configuration is online, you can split up your multi-lap recording according to the new layout (Lap List / lap / Fixes / second button in...
