Re: iOS version fails to record
Hello, LapTimer for Android and iOS utilize the exactly same code for trigger detection and data handling, it is just the user interface that is re-implemented by platform. So i case two devices behave different although they use the same settings, it is some GPS data issue or OS setting. Please rec...

Re: Custom track issues
Thanks for the video. You are right, dragging POIs around is not working well currently. It has always been difficult to implement because a drag operation can be either one to select a different map location (i.e. move the visible area around) or dragging a POI. One of the recent iOS version change...

Re: Trigger detection settings for autocross? And timer starting as soon as I press staged?
Corridor size needs to be adjusted to match the conditions / layout of your track. In general, a wide corridor will make trigger detection less picky. In case you have a lot of space and no paths in parallel to the s/f straight, you can use a wider corridor. In case you have not a lot of space or th...

Re: Correctly sync video to GPS data
Just to understand what exactly happened: this recording has been started and stopped manually? For automatic recordings, lap time corrections are expected. The reasons for this are described (in details) in this FAQ: http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?t=5652 To be clear, the correction appl...

Re: Splitting Lap into Multiple Laps
True, LapTimer detects sessions by looking for a lap not following another directly. So it needs to be stopped when entering the pits. Delete the “long” lap including the pit stops and LapTimer will detect multiple sessions.

Re: Splitting Lap into Multiple Laps
You can export a session by selecting a lap’s session scope. Select any lap of a session from Lap List first. Selext the share icon in the bottom or connect menu. Select Session as the scope and VBO as type. This will export the lap plus all other laps in this session.

Re: Trouble with Android and OBDLink LX
Hello, For the Android version, you add standard BT SPP OBD sensors using the Bluetooth+ icon in Sensor List: navigate to Sensor List and press the BT icon in the top right. LapTimer will show a list of paired BT devices - it should include your LX. Select it and tell LapTimer to handle it as an OBD...

Re: New Track Created Has Vanished
I'd like to learn about it as well, if possible? Track definitions are saved when LapTimer is sent to background / getting inactive. So you can make sure your custom tracks are saved as follows: press Home button or use the corresponding swipe operation. Make sure you are on Springboard or in any o...

Re: CarPlay (iOS) / MirrorLink (Android)
Yesterday I noticed by accident my Carplay radio was showing the Laptimer App...and indeed it works! Finally :) Just wondering if the features I see right now are the final version or will things like the delta bar added later? Pretty sure Apple limits what you are allowed to do :( Still happy we h...
