Re: Preview with very low FPS - unusable

Please clarify: what do your mean by "manual overlay"? The video posted looks like an exported video, not the real time overlay?

Re: Can't select vehicles

LapTimer’s own vehicle database is incomplete. As long as you do not use OBD, there is no need to enter data beyond the 5 or 6 fields in Vehicle Search. Just enter these fields and press New. Actually there is a description in this dialog saying exactly this.

The setting is to tie laps into one session for cases in which there is a gap bigger than 0. So kind of your requirement the other way around.

Re: how to add POI and splits to a new custom track

The s/f trigger is everything needed. This is the reason LapTimer's assistants support only these. To add more POIs, there are several options. As an example, goto Analysis ‣ Realtime ‣ Map. Drag the maps center to the place you want to add a POI to and press the + sign. Fill in the details. Make su...

Re: Compare laps with gost

LapTimer ‣ Analysis ‣ Lap List ‣ any lap (not the current reference lap) ‣ Data Recordings / Preview.
Bring up the tools menu here and select line to line comparison here.
NB: line by line comparison makes sense for very high GPS accuracy and an update rate of 5 or more only.

Re: Preview with very low FPS - unusable

Not related, but please update your LapTimer copy to the latest version on AppStore (22.0.4 or later).
What you describe sounds like some processing overload.
Try restarting the iPhone, the X should handle LapTimer load easily.

Re: Race - Gap

Check your reference lap please. It is probably something LapTimer can't compare the current lap to.

Re: Check Data deleted all sessions of Track Day

Importing .hlptrl files is an additive operation - that's the reason you get duplicates when importing it on top of a non-empty database. Sessions are identified by comparing the end and start of consecutive laps. For duplicates, the these do not match and you will get something like 2 lap sessions....
