Re: IOS vs Android

Hi, For LapTimer, iOS has slightly better support compared to Android. A specific area is that iOS provides by far more consistent media handling and is pretty homogeneous across devices. As a result overlays are generated by a factor 20 faster for comparable hardware. Android is cluttered with manu...

Re: Sync with edited GoPro-video failed

Please make sure the file name is made up from non accent letters and numbers only. No blanks in particular. B22 will have that fixed.

In case this doesn’t apply, the problem will be some encoding issue.

Re: Cannot export full lap overlay

Re: Cannot export full lap overlay

Try restarting the phone. Maybe a problem with the media library. Another possible reason is a problem with a reference video added during Export (but not using real time overlays). Switch it off in Overlay Configuration / second page.

You may try the "Force Overlay GPS Speed" Expert Setting too. ;-) It is available in the Video Tweaks section.

Re: Delta time lost/gained in cursor view (GP)

Yes, it should be added textually. But you have that data available already from the blue filled graph. In case it rises between from/to cursors, you have lost time and vice versa. The scale is available to the right in blue.

Re: Max speed on video = 127km/h

Take care when discussing speed. LapTimer records both GPS and wheel speed in case an OBD adapter is connected. In the CSV file, you can see GPS speed is going beyond 127 while wheel speed is not. In case OBD data is available, LapTimer will use wheel speed for displays. To get GPS speed instead, tu...

Re: Importing video

When using an external cam, you need to copy the video recorded to your smartphone first. The approach depends on platform, version, smartphone brand etc. Please read about the options in Video Documentation available from http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation. A direct download using WiFi is ext...
