Re: Oil Temperature OBD?

I assume your Nissan does not provide oil temperature using the standard OBD PID. This means you need to configure a custom PID. You need to find out the mode and PID used for your car before setting the Custom PID in LapTimer’s Expert Settings.

Re: Problems Accessing Video Library

The SD Card reader will not be allowed to access LapTimer’s sandbox. Videos will always go to Photo app. Try housekeeping the Photo app, crashes can occur as written, but this is rare.

Re: Race Data Logger

Are these 5 to 12 hrs performed in laps, or is this one long recording. The former will not be a problem memory wise, at least when not recording video. :-)

The data required is recorded by LapTimer and can be exported analyses within the app and exported tons tipis formats.

Re: V22.1.4 Unstable?

Try to disable access to Photo library in iOS‘s Settings. LapTimer will store overlaid videos in LapTimer‘s documents area (instead of Photos...

Re: OBD previously worked, now outside of range?

You can keep it like it is, I just wanted to show the option to get a bit faster updates. :-)

Re: OBD previously worked, now outside of range?

Thanks for the efforts. :-) Option 6 should be a bit faster than 2? Once LapTimer v23 is getting available, please try option 4. It should be faster than 2 or 6. I have worked on some answering patterns I have seen for beta testers - well possible it has been the same issue you have been facing. Tha...

Re: OBD previously worked, now outside of range?

Fine, but please try to turn on one of the first and second. This willl speed up the update rate.

Re: OBD previously worked, now outside of range?

P.S. After changing this settings, send LapTimer to background (Home) and pull it forward again. This is to make sure the settings are actually used. Restarting the app can be a good thing too.
