Re: PLX Kiwi 4
I looked at that but didn't find it intuitive or helpful so I guess I'll keep working on it.

Re: PLX Kiwi 4
I pulled up data from my last event and am looking at this diagram now. I'm familiar with the friction circle but I think the data curve at the bottom is probably more relevant. Is there a tutorial on the site going into detail so I'm not missing anything?

Re: PLX Kiwi 4
If using a Kiwi 3 or 4 will it generate data plots for brake and throttle or do those only appear as overlays on video?

Re: (Temporary) drop of support for TomTom car kit
This is fabulous news! I haven't updated my Pro because of the lack of support for the kit, but will as soon as a version is released with it back in. Hopefully that happens before spring here in the States.
Thanks Harry!

Sector Times
Having a feature that broke the defined tracks into sectors would be great to allow greater insight into what portions of the track were fast and / or slow. Allowing the user to define those sectors would be ideal, but pre-configured ones would be great too. A significantly more expensive track tool...

Re: TOMTOM window mount
Harry, Did a test run today with the app and the TomTom mount and everything worked great except for what I'm assuming was an overlay processing issue (with about five minutes left the speed readout and green car location dot stopped). My question has to do with the mounting of the TomTom kit itself...

Re: Basic operation
It the Settings app, not the LapTimer settings. The one that came with your iPhone / the one with the gray / silver gears. - Harry That was it! I've never been in the Location Services screen before so I'm uncertain how it was turned off. Regardless, it's all good. The forum is a great way to post ...

Re: Basic operation
i considered that the GPS function may be turned off, but when I launch the Google Maps app that comes on the phone, it identifies my location right away. When you say "settings app", are you referring to tapping the 'more' button in the bottom row, then Settings? Because I have no "L...

Basic operation
Hi Harry, I purchased the professional lap timer last fall and am looking to get the most from it this upcoming track season. However I'm unable to get it to lock on to any GPS information utilizing the on board iPhone 4 sensor. I never have any signal strength as indicated on the GPS screen, which ...
