Re: Exporting Overlay Video Only
I created a green-screened 5minute video in Sony Vegas - just simply a flat jpeg of the colour green. I then imported this to the phone/Laptimer and used this as the main video. This created a green-screened output video with the overlay where I could just chroma/exclude the green and put the overla...

Re: Exporting Overlay Video Only
Did anyone find a solution for this? A raw green screened export of data would be hugely useful!

Re: More Fields in Timer Views
I haven't tried this mode yet, but is 'overall acceleration' the actual g acceleration? As it would make more sense to have that bar as a +/- colour coded visual indication of your lap time vs best lap time, the Stack system does this quite nicely and it would be awesome if this did it too :- http:/...

Re: Non-OBD data steams (GEMs ECU)
I would need to create a cable to do it, which by default (when plugged into the ECU for programming) is usually just a serial cable yes...

Re: Non-OBD data steams (GEMs ECU)
Hi Harry, Yep, it's a very popular (after-market programmable) ECU in the rally community, especially Lancers/Subarus although it is used in other applications. Just wondering what work would be required to (if even possible) to log from it as I explore the possibilities and limites of the software!...

Non-OBD data steams (GEMs ECU)
Hi Guys, A question, I would like to log the data from my ECU (GEMs), but it's not in the OBD II format. The response I have received from GEMs is :- LOGGING DATA STREAM 1 HEADER $55 2 Engine Speed ERPM 50 rpm/bit 3 LOAD LOAD 0–208 4 Throttle TPSVAR 0–208 5 Air Temp ATEMP signed degree/bit 6 Coolant...

Re: Speed delay in video overlay
Is the 'calculated' speed calculated from GPS and accelerometer data or from OBD II data (RPM/gear ratios/etc)?

Re: Using external videos to overlay
Hi, I've got to the stage where the external video is imported into the correct place so can be selected and associated with the lap you wish to overlay, but I don't appear to get offered (nor can I find) the 'video sync setting' screen show in http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Video.html. Is there somethi...
