Re: Importing laps to Circuit Tools

Boom! I managed to get this to work by adjusting the 'gate width' setting down to its minimum value of 10. Maybe its to do with it being a Karting circuit and a lot tighter than a car circuit. Screenshot 2020-03-08 at 21.00.18.png Now I just need to get video in..... In the vbo file exported from La...

Importing laps to Circuit Tools

Hi :-) I was wondering if I could have some help importing laps to Circuit Tools please? I'm exporting the session from the current version of laptimer on my iPhone and using AirDrop to send it to my Mac. When I open the file in Circuit Tools it identifies the track correctly but the number of laps ...

Re: Lateral and Linear G are the wrong way around

Thanks Harry - I've been able to uncompress the .hlptrz file and can edit and reimport them that way.

I hadn't realised the hlptrz files were compressed - I had a look yesterday and thought you had a fancy binary format :-)

Thanks again,
Keep up with the great app!

Lateral and Linear G are the wrong way around

Hey Harry, I'm not sure if Trouble Shooting is the best place for this question but here goes..... Is it possible to load data exported from a CSV file back into LapTimer? I have some sessions where the lateral and lineal G is being recorded the wrong way. This is most likely because I have my phone...

"Extra" split

Hi All, At a recent race the battery faded on my Dual XGPS150 and the iPhone reverted to using the built in GPS :-( Luckily for me it kept recording all laps and the data is still usable. But.... the accuracy on my phone isn't as good as the Dual and a few laps have an extra split from where the Kar...

Re: Petrolhead 23.0.10 crashing on iOS 13.2

Hey Harry,
The iPhone is still running iOS 13.1.3.

I’ve sent you a crash log.

Thanks,
Doug

Re: Petrolhead 23.0.10 crashing on iOS 13.2

I’m using the Dual 150, but only with my phone. I don’t connect the iPad to it. I collect the data on the phone and then transfer it to the iPad for analysis on the bigger screen.

Are there any crash files the app saves I could send you?

Thanks,
Doug.

Re: Petrolhead 23.0.10 crashing on iOS 13.2

Hi Harry,
It’s wi-if only. I checked again and I can’t load any tracks at all :-( As soon as I click ‘Load’ the app crashes. When I reopen it nothing has been loaded.

I can do a restore on my iPad and see if that helps. I’ve not cleaned it out in a while.

Thanks,
Doug

Petrolhead 23.0.10 crashing on iOS 13.2

Hi Harry, I had to reinstall the app today, version 23.0.10, on my iPad Pro running iOS 13.2. Unfortunately, the app is crashing. I'm unable to load either of the Karting tracks I use (Bayford Meadows and Buckmore Park) or restore from a backup file - the app just crashes. Any idea what I can do ple...

Re: Stopping recording data

Thanks Harry, That's really helpful. I think I'd left the app in one of the tile views so I will be more careful to leave it on the timer view in future. I think it's unlikely that I touched the screen since it's inside my trouser leg and the screen is covered. Now all I need is to get on track agai...
